  • Publication number: 20240316310
Abstract: An extended reality (XR) neural perceptual feedback (NPF) system includes an XR system and a neural interface. The XR system presents a virtual environment to the user and monitors the user's interactions with the virtual environment. Based on the interaction with the virtual environment, the neural interface applies stimulation to the nervous system of the user. For example, a stimulation pattern may be selected based on the type of interaction, what type of virtual object the interaction was with, or combinations thereof. The stimulation may cause a percept in the user, allowing them to have perceptual feedback from interacting with the virtual environment. The neural interface may also be used to direct interactions within the virtual environment, for example using neural signal decoding to determine how to update the virtual environment.

  • Publication number: 20240323228
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to securing digital substation. A switching node is configured to connect a decoy network and a substation communication network. Further, a plurality of bogus medium access control (MAC) IDs are created that resembles similar to a plurality of critical media access control (MAC) IDs exchanged between a plurality of intelligent electronic devices (IEDs) present in the substation communication network. Furthermore, the plurality of bogus MAC IDs are provided to the decoy network for communicating with the alien device. In this way, one or more malicious attack requests received from the alien device are detected. Further, the switching node may switch the substation network to the decoy network for displaying a set of bogus MAC IDs to the alien device depending on type of the one or more malicious attack requests.

  • Publication number: 20240320750
Abstract: A system and method to authorize requests for procedures or medical claim requests is described. In one aspect, datasets from multiple data sources, including historical authorizations associated with various medical claims, are processed. The machine learning engines and the machine learning models are trained based on the received data. Simultaneously, real-time authorization requests are received and analyzed from secondary data sources. Each request is split into service requests based on second attributes, which include identifiers linked to services. The services are encoded using fixed-length encoding, and unique numeric identifiers are assigned to categorical variables. For each encoded service request, contexts, actions, and decisions are determined by comparing the first attributes of historical authorization requests with the second attributes of real-time requests.

  • Publication number: 20240319921
Abstract: Techniques are provided for forwarding operations to bypass persistent memory. A modify operation, targeting an object, may be received at a persistent memory tier of a node. If a forwarding policy indicates that forwarding is not enabled for the modify operation and the target object, then the modify operation is executed through a persistent memory file system. If the forwarding policy indicates that forwarding is enabled for the modify operation and the target object, then the modify operation is forwarded to a file system tier as a forwarded operation for execution through a storage file system.

Abstract: We describe a power converter cooling arrangement in which a base has a top plate of a thermally conductive material, and a bottom plate and side walls define a chamber. An inlet and outlet are in fluid communication with the chamber, and the chamber is flooded with a cooling fluid that flows between the inlet and outlet. A PCB of a power converter is mounted to, and thermally coupled with, the top plate, where the PCB receives a plurality of power modules (that are used in the power conversion). The base comprises a plurality of fluid channels for flowing cooling fluid therethrough. Each of the fluid channels is arranged to coincide with a location of one or more components mounted to the PCB.

  • Patent number: 12098351
Abstract: The invention relates to a device and process for converting organic waste to biogas with high methane content and improved organic conversion efficiency. Disclosed process consists of two stages and in the first stage, shredded organic waste is digested in primary digester in which biodegradable organic fractions present in waste gets converted to volatile fatty acids and alcohols dissolved in aqueous solution by hydrolytic and acidogenic microorganisms. Primary digester effluent pH, is adjusted to about 6.8-7.5 by addition of controlled alkali solution. Neutralized waste slurry is separated into liquid solution called as leachate and digested solid sludge. In the second stage, liquid leachate comprising volatile fatty acids are converted to biogas with methane content in the range 80-86% by methanogenic microbial culture in main digester under anaerobic conditions.

  • Patent number: 12101382
Abstract: Embodiments provide data in-flight (DIF) services to software applications such as virtual machines (VMs) at an application level without requiring modification to established storage protocols. In exemplary embodiments, a storage controller transmits an advertisement of one or more data in-flight (DIF) services supported by a storage container of the storage controller. One or more DIF services communication path is created with attributes corresponding to the DIF services supported by the storage container. The storage controller receives, over the DIF services communication path, tagged data that can include data transmitted by a virtual machine (VM) for storage in the storage container.

  • Publication number: 20240314072
Abstract: A network interface controller can be programmed to direct write received data to a memory buffer via either a host-to-device fabric or an accelerator fabric. For packets received that are to be written to a memory buffer associated with an accelerator device, the network interface controller can determine an address translation of a destination memory address of the received packet and determine whether to use a secondary head. If a translated address is available and a secondary head is to be used, a direct memory access (DMA) engine is used to copy a portion of the received packet via the accelerator fabric to a destination memory buffer associated with the address translation. Accordingly, copying a portion of the received packet through the host-to-device fabric and to a destination memory can be avoided and utilization of the host-to-device fabric can be reduced for accelerator bound traffic.
