  • Publication number: 20230308729
Abstract: Techniques are described for low-latency streaming of media content using a lossless protocol. For example, a media stream, comprising encoded video data, can be streamed to a plurality of streaming clients via the lossless protocol. The plurality of streaming clients can be monitored to determine whether any of them have fallen behind in streaming the media stream. When a streaming client falls behind, a portion of video data to be streamed to the streaming client can be selectively dropped based on scalability information and/or long term reference (LTR) frame information. The low-latency streaming can be performed without using per-client quality feedback from the plurality of streaming clients. When streaming using a semi-lossy protocol, a plurality of delivery modes can be used, where each delivery mode is for a different type of encoded video data and provides a different level of reliability.

  • Publication number: 20230297528
Abstract: A semiconductor device capable of preventing a sharp variation in current consumption in neural network processing is provided. A dummy circuit outputs dummy data to at least one or more of n number of MAC circuits and causes the at least one or more of n number of MAC circuits to perform a dummy calculation and to output dummy output data. An output-side DMA controller transfers pieces of normal output data from the n number of MAC circuits to a memory, by use of n number of channels, respectively, and does not transfer the dummy output data to the memory. In this semiconductor device, the at least one or more of n number of MAC circuits perform the dummy calculation in a period from a timing at which the output-side DMA controller ends data transfer to the memory to a timing at which the input-side DMA controller starts data transfer from the memory.

Abstract: Techniques for a network controller to manage its data path dynamically in a data network. The techniques include causing the network controller to enter a first state, wherein the first state is associated with first processing rules for processing usage data. The network controller receives first usage data from one or more network devices associated with the data network, processes the first usage data according to the first processing rules. Further, the network controller may detect an event associated with transitioning the network controller to a second state, which cause the network controller to transition from the first state into a second state, wherein the second state is associated with second processing rules for processing the usage data. Moreover, the network controller receives second usage data from the one or more network devices, and processes the second usage data according to the second processing rules.
