An example apparatus includes a display to present media and a visual representation of a person; a sensor; machine-readable instructions; and processor circuitry to execute the machine-readable instructions to at least identify a direction of a gaze of a user based on signals output by the sensor; responsive to the direction of the gaze of the user being toward the media, cause a first adjustment to the visual representation; and responsive to the direction of the gaze of the user being toward the visual representation, cause a second adjustment to the visual representation, the second adjustment different than the first adjustment.
