  • Patent number: 12257545
Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to systems and methods for capturing CO2, including an air process zone, a sorbent wheel, a humid zone, and a CO2 storage material. An inlet air stream can pass through the air process zone, and the sorbent wheel can rotate such that a portion of the sorbent wheel is alternatively exposed to the inlet air stream and to humid air in the humid zone. Sorbent material in the sorbent wheel can capture CO2 from the inlet air stream when in the air process zone and release the CO2 when exposed to the humid air in the humid zone. The CO2 storage material can store the CO2 after the CO2 is released by the sorbent material in response to being exposed to the humid air in the humid zone.

  • Patent number: 12259992
Abstract: Methods for centralized access control for cloud relational database management system resources are performed by systems and devices. The methods utilize a central policy storage, managed externally to database servers, which stores external policies for access to internal database resources at up to fine granularity. Database servers in the processing system each receive external access policies that correspond to users of the system by push or pull operations from the central policy storage, and store the external access policies in a cache of the database servers for databases. For resource access, access conditions are determined via policy engines of database servers based on an external access policy in the cache that corresponds to a user, responsive to a resource access request from a device of the user specifying the internal resource. Data associated with the resource is provided to the user based on the access condition being met.

Abstract: Implementing a program such as a network connectivity manager in high-performance or low-power mode. The method may include a first microcontroller unit (MCU) receiving a first message while implementing a program in active mode. The first MCU generates and sends a first inter processor communication (IPC) message to a second MCU in response to the first MCU receiving the first message. The first MCU transitions from active mode to sleep mode after the first MCU sends the first IPC message to the second MCU. The second MCU transitions from sleep mode to active mode in response to the second MCU receiving the first IPC message. The second MCU implements the program after transitioning to active mode. The first MCU is in sleep mode while the second MCU implements the program. The second MCU consumes more power operating in active mode than the first MCU consumes while operating in active mode.

  • Publication number: 20250094240
Abstract: A disclosed method facilitates an increase in utilization with respect to a resource quota allocated to a tenant from a shared resource pool. The method includes transmitting a lease request to a quota service on behalf of the tenant, where the lease request identifies a processing task and specifies quantity of cloud-based resources requested from the shared resource pool for execution of the processing task. The method further provides for determining, based on a feedback signal received from the quota service, whether grant of the lease request would cause the tenant to exceed a resource quota allocated to the tenant and dynamically decreasing parallelism of active tasks being processed by the cloud-based resources on behalf of the tenant in response to determining that grant of the lease request would cause the tenant to exceed the resource quota limit.

  • Publication number: 20250094237
Abstract: A system provides capacity-based load balancing across model endpoints of a cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) model. The system includes a consumption determination engine executable to determine a net resource consumption for processing tasks in a workload generated by a client application for input to the trained machine learning model. The system also includes a load balancer that determines a distribution of available resource capacity in a shared resource pool comprising compute resources at each of the multiple model endpoints. The load balancer allocates parallelizable tasks of the workload among the compute resources at the multiple model endpoints based on the net resource consumption of the tasks and on the distribution of available resource capacity in the shared resource pool.

  • Publication number: 20250095642
Abstract: The current disclosure provides methods for an automated clinical recommendation system that generates clinical recommendations for patients of a health care system based on natural language queries submitted by care providers of the health care system. The natural language queries may be typed into a user interface (UI) of the clinical recommendation system, or submitted by voice via a microphone. The clinical recommendation system provides a clinically explainable disease state of a patient based on patient data included in a query, and recommends a next course of action (e.g., a treatment) based on clinical guidelines and population statistics, in a manner that reduces a current burden of clinicians in consulting digital clinical manuals via a series of time-consuming and cumbersome interactions with a graphical user interface (GUI) of the digital clinical manuals.
