  • Publication number: 20240064105
Abstract: A method for managing traffic processed by a target network function of a communication network is disclosed. The target network function transmits and receives traffic over a communication channel that carries traffic between network functions and application functions. The method, performed by a Data Analytics Function (DAF) of a communication network, comprises receiving information about traffic flows over the communication channel, establishing a priority amongst traffic flows over the communication channel, based on the received information, generating a recommendation for traffic processing on the basis of the established priority, and sending the generated recommendation to a function in the network that has a management responsibility for the target network function.

  • Publication number: 20240062792
Abstract: A memory subsystem and method for performing calibrations therein is disclosed. A memory subsystem includes a memory controller coupled to a memory by a plurality of signal paths. The memory controller is configured to perform an initial calibration to determine respective eye patterns corresponding to the ones of the plurality of signal paths. For a subsequent calibration, updated eye patterns are determined for a subset of the plurality of signal paths. Remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths (not included in the subset), are not active during the subsequent calibrations. Updated eye patterns for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths are determined based on information obtained during the initial calibration and information from signal paths in the subset designated proxies for the remaining ones of the plurality of signal paths.

  • Patent number: 11907674
Abstract: Implementations relate to generating multi-modal response(s) through utilization of large language model(s) (LLM(s)). Processor(s) of a system can: receive natural language (NL) based input, generate a multi-modal response that is responsive to the NL based output, and cause the multi-modal response to be rendered. In some implementations, and in generating the multi-modal response, the processor(s) can process, using a LLM, LLM input (e.g., that includes at least the NL based input) to generate LLM output, and determine, based on the LLM output, textual content for inclusion in the multi-modal response and multimedia content for inclusion in the multi-modal response. In some implementations, the multimedia content can be obtained based on a multimedia content tag that is included in the LLM output and that is indicative of the multimedia content. In various implementations, the multimedia content can be interleaved between segments of the textual content.

  • Publication number: 20240053290
Abstract: A biosensor includes first and second substrates that define a cavity therebetween. A sensing structure, having a functionalized active surface is provided on the first substrate, within said cavity. A flow control structure is provided on the second substrate, which extends into the cavity, and a gap between the distal end of the flow control structure and the sensing structure provides a fluid flow channel across said functionalized active surface. The biosensor further includes an inlet port, adjacent the proximal end of the flow control structure, at one end of the fluid flow channel, and an outlet port at the opposite end of the fluid flow channel. The flow control structure is shaped and configured such that, in use, fluid injected at the inlet port flows into and through the fluid flow channel to the outlet port, thereby exerting a shear force on the functionalized active surface.
