  • Publication number: 20140042937
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for charging an intermediate circuit capacitor in an electric drive unit comprising an electric motor. The intermediate circuit capacitor is charged by an intermediate circuit current that is supplied by a battery. The output voltage of the battery is settable to one or more voltage values. A target value of the intermediate circuit current is determined, and an actual value of the intermediate circuit current is ascertained. The actual value of the intermediate circuit current is then compared with the target value of the intermediate circuit current. An optimal output voltage of the battery is determined on the basis of the comparison of the actual value of the intermediate circuit current with the target value of the intermediate circuit current. Then, the optimal output voltage of the battery is set.

  • Publication number: 20140035361
Abstract: A method is used for controlling a battery having at least one battery module line with a plurality of battery modules that are connected in series. Each battery module has at least one battery cell, at least one coupling unit, a first connection, and a second connection. Each battery module is configured to assume one of at least two switching states dependent on a control of the coupling unit. The different switching states correspond to different voltage values between the first connection and the second connection of the battery module. The method includes determining a ranking among the battery modules. The method also includes engaging the battery modules in a supply of a desired output voltage of the battery module line using the ranking. The battery modules compare respective battery module operating states among one another and determine the ranking on the basis of the comparison.

  • Publication number: 20130326099
Abstract: In a method for allocating addresses in a CAN network having at least one master bus user and at least one slave bus user, the master bus user initiates the address allocation via a query message that is arranged for all bus users. Slave bus users which have already been assigned an address respond to this query message by transmitting a message at their assigned address. Slave bus users which have not yet been assigned an address take measures in response to this query message to be able to transmit on the bus without collisions, and transmit their serial number to the master bus user using these measures. At least the slave bus users which have not yet been assigned an address are assigned a suitable address by the master after receipt of the serial number, and use this address for further communication on the bus.

  • Publication number: 20070196548
Abstract: Process for making a filled confectionery product, in particular a filled chocolate product, using a modified one-shot process to add a filling material and a cover material to a pre-made shell material. The modified one-shot process deposits an edible filling and an edible material into an edible shell that is previously manufactured. The filling material may comprise water-based fillings and fat-based fillings. The edible shell and cover material may comprise chocolate, candy, caramel, toffee, or similar edible materials. The one-shot depositor deposits the edible filling and the edible material substantially simultaneously into the edible shell. The edible filling becomes encased in the edible shell and the edible material forms a covering on the open end of the edible shell to form the filled confectionery product.

  • Patent number: 6628004
Abstract: A system and method for controlling the acceleration of an armature of an electric drive by generating a high quality acceleration error correction signal z, the system comprising an accelerometer for obtaining a measured armature acceleration value bm, which is equal to the product of a true armature acceleration &agr;, and an acceleration measurement transfer function Fg(p), and means for obtaining a measured acceleration signal, bEm, which is generated from a measured substitute acceleration signal bE·bm and bEm are scaled such that the relationship of bm=&agr;·Fg(p)=bEm·Fg(p) is satisfied. The measured armature acceleration signal bm is filtered with a first filter transfer function of FT(p), and the measured acceleration signal bEm is filtered with a second filter transfer function of FH(p). The first and second filter outputs are combined to form the partly synthesized high quality acceleration error correction signal z=bm·FT(p)+bEm·FH(p).
