  • Patent number: 10467308
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for processing social media data for content recommendation to a user. The method includes extracting a set of entity data from the social media data of the user. The method further includes extracting semantic data of each entity data in the extracted set of entity data from one or more knowledge databases over a communication network. The method further includes generating a user-interest vector of the user. The user-interest vector of the user is generated based on at least a mapping of the extracted semantic data of each entity data with one or more leaf nodes in an interest taxonomy. • Publication number: 20190332933
Abstract: In training a new neural network, batches of the new training dataset are generated. An epoch of batches is passed through the new neural network using an initial weight (?). An area minimized (Ai) under an error function curve and an accuracy for the epoch are calculated. It is then determined whether a set of conditions are met, where the set of conditions includes whether Ai is less than an average area (A_avg) from a training of an existing neural network and whether the accuracy is within a predetermined threshold. When the set of conditions are not met, a new ? is calculated by modifying a dynamic learning rate (?) by an amount proportional to a ratio of Ai/A_avg and by calculating the new ? using the modified ? according to ( ? * ? ( J ? ( ? ) ? ? + ? * ? a b ? J ? ( ? ) ? ? ? ) . The process is repeated a next epoch until the set of conditions are met.

  • Publication number: 20190331932
Abstract: A sample may be illuminated in such a way that light passes through the sample, reflects from a set of reflectors, passes through the sample again and travels to a light sensor. The reflectors may be staggered in depth beneath the sample, each reflector being at a different depth. Light reflecting from each reflector, respectively, may arrive at the light sensor during a different time interval than that in which light reflecting from other reflectors arrives—or may have a different phase than that of light reflecting from the other reflectors. The light sensor may separately measure light reflecting from each reflector, respectively. The reflectors may be extremely small, and the separate reflections from the different reflectors may be combined in a super-resolved image. The super-resolved image may have a spatial resolution that is better than that indicated by the diffraction limit.

  • Publication number: 20190329743
Abstract: A parking brake emulator assembly for a vehicle is provided. The emulator assembly includes a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket includes a front spring mounting flange with a spring mounting hole. The emulator assembly further includes a brake lever, a spring guiding rod, a spring, and a rear spring holder. The brake lever is rotatable relative to the mounting bracket into a neutral position and a brake application position. The spring guiding rod is coupled to the brake lever via a pinned connection, and extends through the spring and the rear spring holder. Rotation of the brake lever from the neutral position to the brake application position moves the pinned connection to thereby move the spring guiding rod and the rear spring holder towards the front spring mounting flange, thereby compressing the spring.

  • Publication number: 20190332469
Abstract: An in-band error correcting code (ECC) module intercepts input/output (I/O) operations directed to a memory. The in-band ECC module determines whether the I/O is directed to data that needs to be protected against error. In response to determining that the I/O is directed to data that needs to be protected against error, the in-band ECC module directs a memory controller to store or access ECC data corresponding to the data in a first preassigned area of the memory, and to store or access the data in a second preassigned area of the memory.

  • Patent number: 10462263
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for client device migration. In one example, a client device is enrolled with a first management service. A user interface is generated that identifies a user request to enroll the client device with a second management service. An un-enrollment from the first management service is initiated. The un-enrollment from the first management service is initiated using an identifier of the client device. An enrollment with the second management service is initiated. The enrollment with the second management service is initiated using the identifier of the client device.

  • Patent number: 10456049
Abstract: An apparatus comprises plurality of sensors and a processor. Each sensor provides a sensor signal that includes physiological information and at least one sensor is implantable. The processor includes a physiological change event detection module that detects a physiological change event from a sensor signal and produces an indication of occurrence of one or more detected physiological change events, and a heart failure (HF) detection module. The HF detection module determines, using a first rule, whether the detected physiological change event indicative of a change in HF status of a subject, determines whether to override the first rule HF determination using a second rules, and declares whether the change in HF status occurred according to the first and second rules.

  • Patent number: 10459861
Abstract: A unified cache subsystem includes a data memory configured as both a shared memory and a local cache memory. The unified cache subsystem processes different types of memory transactions using different data pathways. To process memory transactions that target shared memory, the unified cache subsystem includes a direct pathway to the data memory. To process memory transactions that do not target shared memory, the unified cache subsystem includes a tag processing pipeline configured to identify cache hits and cache misses. When the tag processing pipeline identifies a cache hit for a given memory transaction, the transaction is rerouted to the direct pathway to data memory. When the tag processing pipeline identifies a cache miss for a given memory transaction, the transaction is pushed into a first-in first-out (FIFO) until miss data is returned from external memory. The tag processing pipeline is also configured to process texture-oriented memory transactions.
