  • Publication number: 20240069994
Abstract: The proposed systems and methods provide a fixed set of intelligent, general APIs to manage access to enterprise data stored in a cloud-based data lake. These systems and methods allow a fixed set of APIs to respond to all queries regarding the stored enterprise data by using a cached reference table that locates the container and document in which the requested data is held. The proposed systems and methods provide a framework for a minimal API service code with the capacity for responding to dynamic queries while maintaining stringent privacy control protections.

  • Publication number: 20240069581
Abstract: Some memory sub-systems are operated in high temperature and low airflow environments. As a safeguard, thermal throttling may limit throughput on a memory sub-system when a predetermined temperature is reached or exceeded. Improving heat dissipation increases the amount of time a memory sub-system can operate without initiating thermal throttling. Adding a phase-change material (PCM) with a melting temperature above the ambient temperature but below the thermal throttling temperature to a memory sub-system increases the amount of heat the memory sub-system can generate before the temperature reaches the thermal throttling temperature. Thermally coupling components with a heat spreading sheet causes the temperature of the components to vary less than when the components transfer heat by air. Thus, a component that generates less heat may be used to absorb heat generated by another component, increasing the amount of time before any component reaches the thermal throttling temperature.

  • Patent number: 11914884
Abstract: Techniques are provided for storing immutable snapshot copes in write once read many (WORM) storage. A snapshot of a volume may be stored into one or more objects formatted according to an object format. An expiry time may be assigned to the snapshot and the one or more objects based upon a creation time of the snapshot and a retention time. The one or more objects may be stored within a remote object store. The one or more objects are retained in an immutable state and cannot be deleted until expiration of the expiry time. In response to identifying an existing object within the remote object store comprising shared snapshot data referenced by the snapshot, an assigned expiry time of the existing object may be modified based upon the expiry time of the snapshot to create a modified expiry time for the existing object.

  • Patent number: 11917656
Abstract: An access point device operable in a wireless network detects multi-band capability of a wireless client based on a probe request received from the wireless client on the non-preferred communication band. The multi-band capability is detected based on a set of parameters included in the received probe request. When the wireless client is detected to have the multi-band capability, the access point device blocks the attempt of the first wireless client to associate on the non-preferred communication band. The access point device allows the wireless client to associate on one of the non-preferred communication band and a preferred communication band based on a count of probe requests received by the access point device from the wireless client on the non-preferred communication band. Upon association on the non-preferred communication band, the access point device steers the associated wireless client to the preferred communication band.

  • Patent number: 11912013
Abstract: Ink-based digital printing systems useful for ink printing include a rotatable charge-retentive reimageable surface layer configured to receive a layer of fountain solution. The fountain solution is carried to the charge retentive surface by a fog or mist including fountain solution aerosol particles, dispersed gas particles, and charge directors that impart charge to the fountain solution aerosol particles. The charge-retentive reimageable surface may be charged to a uniform potential, and selectively discharged using an ROS according to image data to form an electrostatic latent image. The charged fountain solution adheres to portions of the charge-retentive reimageable surface according to the electrostatic latent image to form a fountain solution image thereon. The fountain solution image can be partially transferred to an imaging blanket, where the fountain solution image is inked. The resulting ink image may be transferred to a print substrate.

  • Publication number: 20240064345
Abstract: The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementations for increasing content insertion opportunities. A prediction input is received that characterizes utilization of content stream utilization channels (CSUCs). Schedule parameters are automatically predicted for the prediction input using prediction models obtained via machine learning based on grouped historic data related to CSUCs, where grouping is based on an operational mode in which the prediction models operate. Using the predicted schedule parameters, insertion opportunity may be identified with respect to CSUCs and insertion schedules are generated specifying insertions of content streams into identified CSUCs at respective insertion times.
