  • Publication number: 20230124495
Abstract: Disclosed is a technical solution to process a video that captures actions to be performed for completing a task based on a chronological sequence of stages within the task. An example system may identify an action sequence from an instruction for the task. The system inputs the action sequence into a trained model (e.g., a recurrent neural network), which outputs the chronological sequence of stages. The RNN may be trained through self-supervised learning. The system may input the video and the chronological sequence of stages into another trained model, e.g., a temporal convolutional network. The other trained model may include hidden layers arranged before an attention layer. The hidden layers may extract features from the video and feed the features into the attention layer. The attention layer may determine attention weights of the features based on the chronological sequence of stages.

  • Patent number: 11629056
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for production of carbon nanotubes and H2 using a reaction system configuration that is suitable for large scale production. In the reaction system, a substantial portion of the heat for the reaction can be provided by using a heated gas stream. Optionally, the heated gas stream can correspond to a heated H2 gas stream. By using a heated gas stream, when the catalyst precursors for the floating catalyst-chemical vapor deposition (FC-CVD) type catalyst are added to the gas stream, the gas stream can be at a temperature of 1000° C. or more. This can reduce or minimize loss of catalyst precursor material and/or deposition of coke on sidewalls of the reactor. Additionally, a downstream portion of the reactor can include a plurality of flow channels of reduced size that are passed through a heat exchanger environment, such as a shell and tube heat exchanger.

  • Patent number: 11631306
Abstract: A method and a target monitoring system (TMS) to generate descriptive parameters of one or more target objects in a region are provided. The TMS dynamically receives first data comprising image data and/or audio data of the target objects in the region and second data comprising circumstantial information related to the first data from one or more sensors positioned in one or more spatial directions in the region over a network. The TMS filters the dynamically received first data and identifies the target objects in the region using image data extracted from the filtered data. The TMS generates descriptive parameters associated with each identified target object in the region using the filtered first data and the circumstantial information.

  • Patent number: 11630807
Abstract: Techniques are provided for managing objects within an object store. An object is maintained within an object store. The object is used to store data of a snapshot of a file system hosted by a remote computing device. A determination is made that the snapshot was deleted by the remote computing device. Bitmaps describing objects within the object store that are related to snapshots of the file system are evaluated to determine that the object is unique to the deleted snapshot. The object is freed from storage within the object store.

The video processing engine may perform one or more operations such as object detection, object tracking, and object classification to produce characterization data (e.g., bounding boxes, object trajectories, alerts, object labels, object counts, boundary crossings, intersection highlighting, etc.). System resource usage and performance of the video processing and streaming are monitored to produce workload data (e.g., metrics). Based on the policies and the workload data, the video streaming and/or processing is dynamically reconfigured by adjusting parameters provided to the video streaming and processing engines.
