    Abstract: A rotating shaft configured to connect two screen-brackets includes two axle structures arranged symmetrically. One of the two axle structures includes an axle, a motion conversion structure, a screen bracket connection structure, and a supporting bracket. The axle includes a worm groove at a surface of the axle. The motion conversion structure cooperates with the worm groove to form a worm drive. The screen bracket connection structure is movably connected to the motion conversion structure and includes mounting holes, which are configured to mount the screen-brackets. The supporting bracket is sleeved at the axle, rotates around an axis of the axle, and is movably connected to the motion conversion structure and the screen bracket connection structure. The motion conversion structure is movable along an axis direction of the axle on a first surface relative to the supporting bracket.

    Abstract: A method of personalized image retrieval includes obtaining a natural language query including a name; replacing the name in the natural language query with a generic term to provide an anonymized query and named entity information; obtaining a plurality of initial ranking scores and a plurality of attention weights corresponding to a plurality of images using a trained scoring model that inputs the anonymized query and the plurality of images; obtaining a plurality of delta scores corresponding to the plurality of images using a re-scoring model that inputs the plurality of attention weights and the named entity information; and obtaining a plurality of final ranking scores by modifying the plurality of initial ranking scores based on the plurality of delta scores. The trained scoring model performs semantic based searching and the re-scoring model determines a probability that faces detected in the plurality of images correspond to the name.

This host node in the expansion device can further cooperate with the host system via a host-to-host connection.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, a topology optimization application solves a topology optimization problem associated with designing a three-dimensional (ā€œ3Dā€) object. The topology optimization application coverts a first shape having a first resolution and representing the 3D object to a coarse shape having a second resolution that is lower than the first resolution. Subsequently, the topology optimization application computes coarse structural analysis data based on the coarse shape. The topology optimization application then uses a trained machine learning model to generate a second shape having the first resolution and representing the 3D object based on the first shape and the coarse structural analysis data. The trained machine learning model modifies a portion of a shape having the first resolution based on structural analysis data having the second resolution.

    Abstract: In various embodiments, a training application trains a machine learning model to modify portions of shapes when designing 3D objects. The training application converts first structural analysis data having a first resolution to first coarse structural analysis data having a second resolution that is lower than the first resolution. Subsequently, the training application generates one or more training sets based on a first shape, the first coarse structural analysis data, and a second shape that is derived from the first shape. Each training set is associated with a different portion of the first shape. The training application then performs one or more machine learning operations on the machine learning model using the training set(s) to generate a trained machine learning model. The trained machine learning model modifies at least a portion of a shape having the first resolution based on coarse structural analysis data having the second resolution.

    Abstract: An utterance in any of various languages is processed to derive a predicted label using a generated grammar. The grammar is suitable for deriving meaning of utterances from several languages (polyglot). The utterance is processed by an encoder using word embeddings. The encoder and a decoder process the utterance using the polyglot grammar to obtain a machine-readable result. The machine-readable result is well-formed based on accounting for re-entrances of intermediate variable references. A machine then takes action on the machine-readable result. Ambiguity is reduced by the decoder by the well-formed machine-readable result. Sparseness of the generated polyglot grammar is reduced by using a two-pass approach including placeholders which are ultimately replaced by edge labels.
