  • Patent number: 12726445
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a capability message indicating that the UE can perform a modification procedure on one or more explicit congestion notification (ECN) fields and may receive a configuration message instructing the UE to perform the modification procedure. Thus, when the UE receives data packets that include ECN fields, the UE may modify the ECN field of a first data packet based on receiving the configuration message. In some other examples, the UE may receive the data packets at a modem of the UE via a wireless channel. The UE may then send congestion information associated with the wireless channel from the modem of the UE to a congestion controller of the UE. Using the congestion information the UE may then send a feedback message that is associated with the received data packets.

  • Publication number: 20260239103
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, at a first modem and from a first device, one or more data packets. Based on an explicit congestion notification (ECN) capable transport (ECT) codepoint indication in respective header portions of the data packets, the UE may route the data packets from the first modem to two or more queues associated with a second modem of the UE. Based on receiving buffer and link state information associated with the second modem, the UE may perform a congestion indication procedure that is associated with congestion of a communication link associated with the UE. The UE may thereafter transmit, to a second device, packet data from the two or more queues associated with the second modem of the UE based on a respective priority associated with the two or more queues.

  • Patent number: 12707503
Abstract: Aspects relate to random access procedures. Different random access channel (RACH) configurations may be defined for different service groups. For example, one or more service groups (e.g., network slice groups) may be defined where each service group includes one or more services (network slices). One RACH configuration may be defined for one service group, another RACH configuration may be defined for another service group, and so on. Each service group may be configured with a different set of RACH parameters. Within each service group, one or more services may be configured with dedicated (e.g., non-cell-specific) RACH resources, and other services may be configured with cell-specific RACH resources. Each service group may be configured with different RACH resources. Within each service group, one or more services may be configured with a set of dedicated (e.g., non-cell-specific) RACH parameters, and other services may be configured with a set of cell-specific RACH resources.

  • Patent number: 12707320
Abstract: Some wireless communications systems may support logical channel prioritization (LCP) adaptation. A user equipment (UE) may receive signaling scheduling multiple data flows associated with a set of channels in particular logical channels, where each data flow of the multiple data flows is associated with a set of one or more parameters. The UE may calculate a deadline metric (DM) associated with a transmission time of each data flow based on the sets of one or more channel prioritization parameters and may adapt the set of one or more parameters associated one or more data flows of the multiple data flows based at least in part on the DM. The UE may transmit a first data flow of the multiple data flows based at least in part on a prioritization of the first data flow over a second data flow, the prioritization based at least in part on the adapting.

  • Patent number: 12701409
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to mechanisms for securely communicating broadcast information related to cell access within a secure cell. The broadcast information may be encrypted using a cell-specific broadcast key that may be derived from a broadcast root key that is refreshed periodically. A wireless communication device may obtain the broadcast root key via a secure connection with a provisioning server or core network node within a core network maintaining the broadcast root key or a long term key from which the broadcast root key may be derived. The cell-specific broadcast key may be derived using a key derivation function of the broadcast root key and at least cell identifying information associated with the secure cell.

  • Publication number: 20260222989
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may wake up at a subframe, wherein the subframe is identified by a subframe number and a system frame number (SFN), based on a discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle length, a DRX start offset, and an SFN wraparound offset. The SFN wraparound offset is based on a counter initialized according to a time reference SFN. The UE may receive downlink channels from the subframe during a DRX on duration. In further aspects, the UE may receive a configuration message specifying DRX parameters and the time reference SFN, and may operate according to multiple DRX configurations associated with different traffic flows. Numerous other aspects are described.
