  • Publication number: 20240420425
Abstract: Systems and a method determine a location of a virtual camera for virtually capturing an image sequence of a virtual scene of an industrial simulation. Input data are received on the virtual scene containing a set of objects wherein at least two objects are in relative motion during a given time interval. On at least two objects of the set, the at least two focus objects are in relative motion in the given time interval and are sufficiently visible in a captured image sequence of the virtual scene in at least two time points. Inputs on data are received on a set of camera locations candidates for capturing the image sequence. For each camera location candidate, a visibility map of pixels is generated indicating the presence of the at least two focus objects and their visibility level in the corresponding capturable image sequence.

  • Patent number: 11681944
Abstract: “Semi-supervised” machine learning relies on less human input than a supervised algorithm to train a machine learning algorithm to perform entity recognition (NER). Starting with a known entity value or known pattern value for a specific entity type, phrases in a training data corpus are identified that include the known entity value. Context-value patterns are generated to match selected phrases that include the known entity value. One or more context-value patterns may be validated based on human input. The validated patterns identify additional entity values. A subset of the additional entity values may also be validated based on human input. Occurrences of validated entity values may be labeled in the training corpus. Sample phrases from the labeled training dataset may be extracted to form a reduced-size training set for a supervised machine learning model which may be further used in production to label data for any named entity recognition application.

  • Patent number: 10785270
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for discovering social network groups of interests to attendees of a group gathering. Voice imprints of attendees of a group gathering are received during a registration process. The received voice imprints are associated with the registered attendees. A voice stream that was captured in the group gathering is then translated to a list of utterances. Each utterance is then tagged with the attendee who made the utterance based on the voice imprints provided by the attendees during registration. The utterances are parsed and analyzed to identify concepts and keywords. An attendee to the group gathering may then be associated with a social network group (either preexisting or newly created) with a mapping to concepts and keywords that have a similarity to the identified concepts and keywords that meets or exceeds a threshold.
