  • Publication number: 20180318594
Abstract: An implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) and methods of detection and treatment of dangerous and life-threatening heart rhythms by delivering real-time, customized low-energy pacing pulses to specific anatomy in the heart. The ICD includes a power source, a controller, powered by the power source, including an electronic processor, a memory, and a signal generator. The ICD also includes a lead coupled to the controller and an electrode that is in electrical communication with a His-bundle of a patient's heart. The ICD detects a ventricular arrhythmia of the patient's heart using the controller, and is configured to provide a pulsed defibrillation signal to the electrode to terminate the ventricular arrhythmia.

  • Patent number: 10049041
Abstract: A system and method for Java object storage and retrieval in a non-volatile all flash memory database. Bean annotations define the attributes of objects and object classes that are created using a Java compiler in an all flash Java runtime environment. Object indexes are created based upon these attributes, and a Java object query language using the indexes is employed to locate objects in the all flash memory database. A new transactional model is provided for managing objects and memory in the all flash memory database, and a new garbage collector deletes objects and reclaims memory.

  • Publication number: 20180111595
Abstract: A brake retarder valve for a tractor-trailer combination includes a valve housing and a valve assembly. The valve assembly includes a poppet valve biased by a spring and a gravity spool. The valve assembly is selectively operable between the operative closed configuration and an open configuration in response to a resultant of the fluid pressure between a trailer axle brake and a tractor axle brake. The tractor axle brake is actuated with a time delay from actuation of the trailer axle brake. This delay is actuation of the tractor axle brake prevents jack knifing of the trailer onto the tractor in a tractor-trailer combination, thereby ensuring safety during operation of a tractor-trailer combination.

  • Patent number: 9626328
Abstract: On-demand aggregated logging for distributed systems is described. An identification of a logging condition is received via a first user interface. The logging condition is sent to multiple logging elements, wherein each of the multiple logging elements is executing on a corresponding one of multiple distributed systems components. A logging element determines whether a local runtime condition matches the logging condition. The logging element sends a local log associated with the local runtime condition to an aggregating logger, wherein the local log is supplemented with information that identifies the logging condition, in response to a determination that the local runtime condition matches the logging condition. The aggregating logger creates an aggregated log based on the local log and the supplemented information. The aggregated log is output via a second user interface to enable resolution of a problem associated with the multiple distributed systems components.

  • Publication number: 20170027465
Abstract: Electrophysiology mapping systems and methods that are used to determine longitudinal and transverse conduction velocities within myocardial tissue. The myocardial tissue can be contacted with at least three non-collinear electrodes. A selected electrical pacing protocol can include at least one pacing wave that is delivered to the at least three non-collinear electrodes. During each pacing wave, at least one pair of adjacent electrodes can generate an electrical activation pattern, and at least one additional electrode can detect the activation pattern. For each pacing wave, a processor determines a conduction velocity vector associated with the detection of the electrical activation pattern at a corresponding electrode. The processor can determine a singular value decomposition of the conduction velocity vectors determined during the electrical pacing protocol and use the singular value decomposition to determine the longitudinal and transverse conduction velocities within the myocardial tissue.
