Abstract: A shock absorbing device is adapted for damping impact transmitted from a front wheel of a stroller. The device includes left and right lever members, left and right front leg members, a pair of coupling members, and a pair of biasing members. Each lever member has an anchoring end adapted to be secured to one end of a front wheel axle, and is pivotally mounted on the coupling member. Each front leg member has one end connected to a seat frame of the stroller, and the other end retained in the corresponding coupling member. The biasing members are disposed to bias engaged ends of the front leg members to move towards or away from intermediate portions of the lever members when tensioned or compressed.

Abstract: A stroller with a brake device which has a mounting seat mounted between two upright rear rods of the stroller. An operating member has a slidable mounting portion mounted slidably on the mounting seat, an operating portion, and a downward extension which is connected to a transverse linking member that has two opposite ends connected to two brake members. The brake members are pivoted to the rear rods about a horizontal pivot axis. The operating member is operable for turning rearward to cause the slidable mounting portion and the transverse linking member to move rearward relative to the mounting seat so as to enable the brake members to pivot in a direction for moving to a braking position, where the brake members engage two rear wheels of the stroller to stop rotation of the same.

Abstract: A pivot connector for a stroller frame includes a mounting seat formed with elongated slots, a pivot plate disposed in and pivoted to the mounting seat, an operating member straddling over the mounting seat, a locking pin mounted on the operating member and extending through the elongated slots, and a biasing spring for biasing the operating member away from the mounting seat. The pivot plate is formed with a locking groove that can be registered selectively with the elongated slots when the pivot plate is pivoted. The locking pin is movable to rear slot portions of the elongated slots when the operating member is moved toward the mounting seat, wherein the locking pin is extendible into and out of the locking groove.

Abstract: A mounting device for mounting a front wheel axle on a stroller frame, includes a pair of hollow mounting seats, each of which has an inner side wall formed with an upwardly extending opening and an abutment edge that defines a top end of the opening. Each mounting seat has a resilient engaging plate which is disposed inwardly of the opening and which is inclined with respect to the inner side wall. The engaging plate has an engaging end proximate to the abutment edge and cooperating with the abutment edge to form a retaining space therebetween, and a connecting end distal to the abutment edge.

Abstract: A connecting device for a stroller frame includes a pivot seat for connecting pivotally a connecting section of a handle portion to a leg portion of the stroller frame, a locking seat for locking releasably the connecting section to the leg portion, an operating member operable to move the locking seat for unlocking the connecting section from the leg portion, a linking rod interconnecting the operating member and the locking seat, and a biasing unit for biasing the locking seat to a locking position. The biasing unit is received in the connecting section, and includes an elongated spring mounting seat which has a bottom end secured to the connecting section, and a surrounding wall formed with a spring chamber and an elongated second slot communicated with the spring chamber and registered with a first slot in the connecting section. The biasing unit further includes a coiled compression spring retained in the spring chamber.

Abstract: A stroller includes a main frame, an auxiliary seat unit, a mounting unit, and a hooking unit. The main frame includes a first seat portion, a pair of front leg portions, and a pair of rear leg portions. The front and rear leg portions are disposed adjacent to lateral sides of the first seat portion, and are mounted to the first seat portion. The auxiliary seat unit includes an auxiliary frame and a second seat portion mounted on the auxiliary frame. The mounting unit mounts detachably the auxiliary frame on the main frame in front of the first seat portion, and includes a locking seat provided on one of the main frame and the auxiliary frame, and an insert member provided on the other one of the main frame and the auxiliary frame. The locking seat is formed with an insert hole which permits insertion of the insert member thereinto for engaging releasably the insert member.

Abstract: A toy chair includes a seat member having a horizontal seat portion and a vertical backrest portion that extends upwardly from the rear edge of the seat portion. A pair of extension members extend respectively from left and right lateral sides of the seat member. Left and right connecting members are mounted respectively on the extension members of the seat member. Each of the connecting members is formed with at least two positioning recesses that are aligned in a longitudinal direction thereof. Left and right height adjustment mechanisms are mounted respectively on the connecting members so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction. Each of the height adjustment mechanisms is provided with a retainer that is operable to engage removably a selected one of the positioning recesses in the respective one of the left and right connecting members. Front and rear leg units have upper portions connected to the height adjustment mechanisms, and lower portions to be placed on a ground surface.

Abstract: A pivot joint for use in a stroller frame includes a stationary seat member, a pivotable seat member mounted pivotally on the stationary seat member, a spring-loaded retaining member disposed between and engaging the stationary seat member and the pivotable seat member, and an operating knob mounted on the pivotable seat member. The stationary seat member has a confining wall with an inner surface formed with a plurality of first engaging grooves. The pivotable seat member has a surrounding wall with an inner surface formed with a plurality of second engaging grooves, each of which is defined by first and second perpendicular walls. One of the first and second perpendicular walls has an inclined cam face. The retaining member has a peripheral edge formed with a plurality of teeth for engaging the first and second engaging grooves.
