  • Publication number: 20120004560
Abstract: A cuff for a sphygmomanometer includes an air bladder for compressing a living body, an exterior cover including the air bladder, and a fixing unit arranged in the exterior cover. A portion closer to an end of the exterior cover is inserted between a roller arranged in the fixing unit and a stopper, and is fixed by being pushed against the roller by the stopper. The roller is rotatable only in a direction of reducing the size of the annular portion of the exterior cover. Accordingly, the cuff for the sphygmomanometer has a simple configuration, is inexpensively manufactured, and easily carries out and stably reproduces attachment with respect to the upper arm.

  • Publication number: 20110295130
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement device includes a wrapping strength detecting portion for detecting a wrapping strength of a cuff with respect to a measurement site. The wrapping strength detecting portion detects the wrapping strength of the cuff prior to calculation of a blood pressure value by a blood pressure calculation unit. That is, the wrapping strength of the cuff is detected based on a relationship indicated by a volume change ?V12 of the cuff detected with a change in the detection pressure in the cuff wrapped around the measurement site from P1 to P2 and a volume change ?23 of the cuff detected with change from P2 to P3 in a process of controlling the cuff pressure by a pressure adjustment unit.

  • Publication number: 20110208069
Abstract: A blood pressure information measurement device instantaneously changes cuff pressure in a specified pressure section in order to detect a control target value in artery volume constant control. An artery volume signal is detected in that period, and an inflection point of the detected artery volume signal is detected by performing differentiation processing or the like. The inflection point of the detected artery volume signal is fixed as the control target value.

  • Publication number: 20110152700
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer has a cuff to be attached to a measurement site, a pressurization/depressurization unit for adjusting a pressure to be applied to the cuff, a pressure detection unit including a plurality of pressure sensors, for detecting cuff pressures in the cuff based on pressure information output from the plurality of pressure sensors, and a blood pressure calculating unit for calculating a blood pressure based on a change in the cuff pressures detected by the pressure detection unit. Blood pressure measurement and detection of abnormality on the plurality of pressure sensors are carried out based on the cuff pressures respectively corresponding to the plurality of pressure sensors detected according to the pieces of pressure information output from the plurality of pressure sensors.

  • Publication number: 20110021927
Abstract: A blood pressure measurement apparatus includes a derivation control unit that performs derivation control to derive a blood pressure of a measured person. The derivation control unit includes an envelope extracting unit to extract an envelope of a volume pulse wave based on an arterial volume signal, a differential processing unit to differentiate the envelope with respect to a cuff pressure, a maximum value extracting unit to extract a maximum value of a differential value of the envelope, and a blood pressure decision unit that decides the cuff pressure used for the differential of the maximum value as a blood pressure.

  • Publication number: 20110015531
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer, which measures blood pressure in accordance with the volume compensation method, detects a cuff pressure inside a cuff attached to a measurement site of the blood pressure. An arterial volume detection circuit detects an arterial volume signal of the measurement site. A drive control unit, after setting the cuff pressure to an initial cuff pressure, servo-controls a cuff pressure adjustment unit so that a volume of an artery becomes constant, based on the detected arterial volume signal. While the servo control is being performed, an arterial volume change amount is detected based on the detected arterial volume signal.

  • Publication number: 20100331709
Abstract: A blood pressure information measurement device includes a cuff (10A) serving as a detection unit. The cuff (10A) includes an air bladder (40), a photoelectric sensor (50), a belt member (20), and a fixing stand (32), and is attached to a living body by wrapping the belt member (20) around a measuring site. The photoelectric sensor (50) optically detects an intra-arterial volume fluctuation, and includes a light emitting element (51) and a light receiving element (52). The fixing stand (32) includes a base portion (32a) with a sensor attachment surface (32a1) attached with the photoelectric sensor (50), and a guide portion (32b) arranged projecting out from the base portion (32a) toward the sensor attachment surface (32a1) side, and having a distal end placed at a body surface near the measuring site in the attachment state of the cuff (10A).
