The installation needs to be able to operate at short notice due to the amounts of seasonal waste. In the inventive method and installation thus disclosed, the fresh waste water is pre-treated by subjecting it to acidification with biogenic flocculation and separation of solid particles.

A simple and economic implementation of the leak gap is assured by arranging a rotationally symmetrical body such as a cylinder (10) in a receptacle (11, 24) of the damping device (9, 18), so that the leak gap (13, 26) is formed between the wall (12, 25) of the receptacle and the peripheral surface of the rotationally symmetrical body (10).

The support may include a common haptic, or a separate haptic for respectively mounting each of the lenses together with a common ring for mounting each of the haptics to enable rotation of the lenses relative to one another after implantation. In the latter configuration, the common mounting ring has a pair of parallel grooves along an inner edge thereof for mounting the respective haptics therein for rotation of the lenses relative to one another.
