The plurality of identified desired settings are presented as options for changing the network security device from the as-is settings to the identified desired settings. A choice is received from the plurality of options. The choice informs the random forest model. The random forest model ranks for a new problematic network security device the plurality of options for changing the new problematic network security device from as-is settings to desired settings by aggregating an identified cost of individual configuration changes, thereby identifying a most cost-effective setting for the network security device to achieve a desired output of the network security device.

Responsive to the analyzing, a data item is identified for caching at the system, wherein the data item is accessible to the system from at a remote data processing system over a data network at a present time, and the data item will be requested from the system at a future time when no network connectivity will be available to the system. A determination is made whether a caching control prevents the caching of the data item at the system. Responsive to the caching control not preventing the caching of the data item, the data item is cached on the system.

    Abstract: A method and associated system for filtering content received from a search of information. Documents are received from the search. The search is based on a search request received from a requester. A subject of each received document is determined. A contributor associated with each document received as a result of the search is determined. Credentials of each contributor are received. For each received document, a determination is made of (i) a credential score for each credential of the contributor with respect to the subject of the document and (ii) a ranking score of the contributor on the subject of the document. The ranking score is determined based on the credential scores. The received documents are filtered, by using the ranking scores, to remove at least one document from the received documents, resulting in a set of remaining documents. The set of remaining documents are returned to the requester.

    Abstract: A protective action system and method includes detecting the impending weather conditions for a geographic region, and in response to detecting the impending weather conditions, determining that an initial location of the autonomous vehicle is located in the geographic region affected by the impending weather conditions, calculating a current risk of damage to the autonomous vehicle based on the impending weather conditions in the geographic region and a current state of the autonomous vehicle, comparing the current risk of damage to a threshold of acceptable risk of damage, wherein, the current risk of damage exceeds a threshold of acceptable risk, assessing a user calendar to determine that taking a protective action by the autonomous vehicle is acceptable, and instructing the autonomous vehicle to take the protective action so that the current state of the autonomous vehicle is changed to a safe state to avoid damage from the impending weather conditions.

    Abstract: A method, system, and/or computer program product determines an alternate route for a cargo vehicle based on driving profiles of vehicle controllers and sensor readings from another cargo vehicle. One or more processors receive output from a cargo sensor and a camera, on a first cargo vehicle that is controlled by a first controller. The output from the cargo sensor and the camera describe an amount of movement of first cargo being transported by the first cargo vehicle. The processor(s) evaluate a profile of a second controller of a second cargo vehicle that is transporting second cargo similar in type to the first cargo, and determine an alternate route for the second cargo vehicle based on the profile of the second controller. The processor(s) then transmit instructions to the second controller to take the second cargo vehicle on the alternate route.

The PCCS engine also generates, in the PCC, for each of a plurality of public cloud services, a private instance of the public cloud service in the PCC. The private instance of the public cloud service in the PCC performs the requested processing of consumer private data within the PCC without exposing the consumer private data outside the PCC.     Abstract: A user authentication tool continuously authenticates the user of a computing device during an electronic communication session. A trusted user profile includes keypad pressure applied by the trusted user when depressing characters on a virtual keypad displayed on the computing device touch screen. Keypad pressure applied by the current user of the computing device is continually monitored during the current electronic communication session. The monitored keypad pressure applied by the current user is compared to the keypad pressure in the trusted user profile. A confidence score is generated based upon the compared keypad pressures of the current user and the trusted user, the confidence score being indicative of the likelihood that the current user is the trusted user of the computing device. The computing device is automatically required to re-authenticate the current user as the trusted user if the generated confidence score is below a predefined minimum confidence threshold.

    Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable challenge-response authentication of a user based on information captured by a personal internet of things (IoT) device set associated with the user. Specifically, in one approach, a personal IoT device set comprising at least one device records and stores data associated with a user. The data is synchronized and stored to a computerized authentication system, which prompts the user with an authentication question based on the synchronized and stored data. The user may find an answer to the authentication question by reviewing data recorded and stored in the device of the personal IoT device set. The user may then enter the found answer to the authentication question, thereby authenticating the user. The personal IoT device set may comprise a single device or may comprise a plurality of devices, the information of one of which may be selected as the basis of the authentication question.

A total risk value is calculated using each weighted risk value associated with each identified trait associated with the phone call. Responsive to the total risk value exceeding a predetermined risk value, the individual is notified of the total risk value to enable the individual to take an appropriate action based on the total risk value.
