  • Publication number: 20200218341
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to augmented reality (AR) safety enhancement. In embodiments, an eye-gaze time indicating a period in which a user using an AR application is viewing a screen of a mobile device running the AR application can be determined. The eye-gaze time can then be compared to an eye-gaze threshold. In response to a determination that the eye-gaze time exceeds the eye-gaze threshold, an alert can be issued to the mobile device running the AR application. In embodiments, a set of proximity data can be received. The set of proximity data can be analyzed to determine a number of nearby devices. A determination can be made whether the number of nearby devices exceeds a safety threshold. When a determination is made that the number of nearby devices exceeds the safety threshold, an alert can be issued to a device having a running AR application.

  • Patent number: 10697786
Abstract: A method directs a self-driving cargo vehicle to take an alternate route based on cargo sensor readings from another cargo vehicle. One or more processors receive output from a cargo sensor and a camera, which describe an amount of movement of first cargo being transported by a first cargo vehicle on a first cargo vehicle. The processor(s) evaluate a profile of a controller on a second cargo vehicle, which is a self-driving vehicle, and which is transporting second cargo that is a same type of cargo as the first cargo. The processor(s) determine an alternate route for the second cargo vehicle, and then transmit instructions to the controller to take the second cargo vehicle on the alternate route.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments described herein, device, computer-implemented methods, and/or computer program products that facilitate biometric authentication. According to an embodiment, a device can comprise a memory that stores computer executable components and a processor that executes the computer executable components. The computer executable components can comprise a sensor component comprising one or more pressure sensors and that measures pressure. The computer executable components can further comprise a pressure processing component that determines a first pressure sequence employed to authenticate the device, wherein the first pressure sequence is determined based on a pressure applied at the one or more pressure sensors. The computer executable components can further comprise an authentication component that authenticates the first pressure sequence by determining that the first pressure sequence matches an authentication pressure sequence.

  • Publication number: 20200167464
Abstract: An approach is provided for detecting a malicious activity on a computer system. First process trees are identified for computer processes that have been executed on a computer system. Each of the first process trees are vectorized. The vectorized first process trees are associated with respective labels. Each label represents an amount by which a respective vectorized process tree reflects the malicious activity. An artificial neural network is trained by using the vectorized first process trees and the associated labels as training input. After the training of the artificial neural network is completed, second process trees for currently executing computer processes are vectorized and provided as input vectors to the artificial neural network. Responsive to the artificial neural network providing an output indicating that a combination of the input vectors indicates the malicious activity, a remedial action is performed.

  • Publication number: 20200152328
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s), obtains a request to be electronically monitored, from a user, via a computing resource, and the request comprises authorization to access one or more data sources utilized by the user or proximate to the user. The processor(s) monitors data sources to obtain data relevant to a user, to generate and train a predictive model to determine a probability that the user is experiencing a sensory issue. The processor(s) trains the model with additional data comprising behavior(s) indicating the sensory issue and contextual factor(s). The processor(s) determines the user is exhibiting, during the time period, the behavior(s) and the processor(s) (deviations from the expected behavior(s)) and determines a context for each incidence of the behavior(s) during the time period. The processor(s) adjusts a portion of the instances to generate an adjusted portion and cognitively analyzes the adjusted portion.

  • Publication number: 20200137114
Abstract: Suspending communication to/from non-compliant servers through a firewall includes establishing a secure collection of compliance rules for security compliance, ascertaining, for each server of server(s) of an environment, respective software package(s) installed on the server, building a secure server and acceptable risk listing that indicates each of the server(s) and the software package(s) installed on each server, assigning and securely storing risk ratings for the server(s), comparing the assigned risk rating for a second server to an acceptable risk level indicated for a first server, and based on determining that the assigned risk rating for the second server exceeds the acceptable risk level, performing a rules modification to the firewall to enforce the compliance rules. The rules modification disables communication between the first server and the second server through the firewall.

  • Publication number: 20200118665
Abstract: A method, computer program product, and a system where a processor(s) obtains data related to physical activities performed by an individual from a sensor(s) proximate to the individual. The processor(s) cognitively analyzes the data to identify baseline behavioral patterns of the individual, when the individual is engaged in each of the physical activities. The processor(s) obtains data indicating consumption of a substance by the individual at a first time. The processor(s) determines impacts of the consumption on the baseline behavioral patterns of the individual and generates a data structure (a predictive model) that includes expected deviations from the baseline behavioral patterns of the individual, when the individual has consumed the substance.

  • Patent number: 10609031
Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for providing a private consolidated cloud service architecture. The mechanisms operate to implement a private consolidated cloud service (PCCS) engine. The PCCS engine generates a private consolidated cloud (PCC) for a consumer based on one or more PCC characteristics specified by a request from the consumer. The PCCS engine also generates, in the PCC, for each of a plurality of public cloud services, a private instance of the public cloud service in the PCC. The PCC receives, from a consumer device, a request for processing of consumer private data by a specified private instance of a public cloud service in the PCC. The private instance of the public cloud service in the PCC performs the requested processing of consumer private data within the PCC without exposing the consumer private data outside the PCC. The PCC provides results of the requested processing to one of the consumer device or the public cloud service.
