  • Publication number: 20070208482
Abstract: A distance, speed and direction sensitive processor coupled to a brake controller. The processor executes instructions to compare actual vehicle performance with that of a deceleration profile and modulates the brake controller to bring vehicle performance into agreement with the profile. Distance information is provided by a radar sensor for long ranges, an ultrasonic sensor for medium ranges, and a wheel rotation sensor for short ranges. Speed information is provided by a vehicle mounted sensor or calculated by the processor based on distance. • Publication number: 20070203562
Abstract: A catheter assembly and related methods include first and second catheter branches that are configured to travel over separate guidewires to a vessel bifurcation treatment site within a patient. The catheter branches can each include a plurality of markers. The position of markers on one catheter branch relative to the position of markers on the other catheter branch provide a visual indication of relative twist between the catheter branches, can help distinguish one catheter branch from the other, and help with visual alignment of the catheter branches relative to the vessel bifurcation.

  • Publication number: 20050154450
Abstract: A system for reducing the diameter of a stent comprises a stent contracting assembly and a fluid source. The assembly comprises a plurality of contracting members that define a diameter reduction chamber for receiving a stent. When the chamber is in a pre-reduction configuration the stent has a first diameter and when the chamber is in a reduced configuration the stent has a second diameter. The second diameter is less than the first diameter. The fluid source is in fluid communication with the chamber and is constructed and arranged to inject a fluid therein. The fluid forms a fluid bearing between the contracting members and the stent which prevents the contracting members from contacting the stent in the reduced diameter configuration.
