  • Publication number: 20040204749
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing the longitudinal aspect of the catheter to stent force comprises at least one grip member for use with a stent delivery system. The grip engages a stent in the unexpanded state prior to delivery of the stent by retracting a stent retaining sheath. The grip comprises a body region having an outer diameter, a first end and a second end. The outer diameter of the first end is greater than the outer diameter of the second end. The grip is at least partially constructed from a polymeric material.

  • Publication number: 20030141965
Abstract: A trailer based collision warning system includes one or more side object detection sensors, one or more backup assist sensors, a driver vehicle interface, and trailer-mounted display units operating essentially independent of the tractor with all detection and warning system equipment mounted on the trailer. The trailer based collision warning system is coupled to industry-standard tractor to trailer wiring to provide the trailer with power and signals such as left turn indication and right turn indication. The side and rear sensors detect the presence and location of objects and transfer this information to a driver vehicle interface device located on the trailer. The system can also be equipped with video cameras with a means of automatically activating the camera in the area where a hazard condition has been detected.

  • Publication number: 20030111902
Abstract: A distance, speed and direction sensitive processor coupled to a brake controller. The processor executes instructions to compare actual vehicle performance with that of a deceleration profile and modulates the brake controller to bring vehicle performance into agreement with the profile. Distance information is provided by a radar sensor for long ranges, an ultrasonic sensor for medium ranges, and a wheel rotation sensor for short ranges. Speed information is provided by a vehicle mounted sensor or calculated by the processor based on distance. Direction information is provided by a vehicle mounted switch or determined by the processor based on distance. The brake controller includes a hold valve and a dump valve, each of which is modulated with a pulse train signal.

  • Patent number: 5141162
Abstract: A liquid spray gun whih includes an improved flow rate control. The improved flow rate control results from a valve in the supply inlet line which can restrict the flow of liquid material from the supply container. The ability to vary the flow rate is improved because, while the electromagnetic motor is maintained at maximum electrical input power, inlet flow can be accurately regulated. Maintaining maximum input pressure ensures optimum spray performance. Finer atomization at lower flow rates can be achieved from the improved flow control system.

  • Patent number: 4029913
Abstract: A system for electronically selecting and establishing test loop circuits between a remote test position and any of a large number of communication lines at an access location. Extensive logic circuits at the access end and the test end exchange information and display for the operator if the circuit is ready, if there has been a transmission error or component failure, if the circuits are busy, and other factors that affect the system thereby making the operator's task easier. Fail safe circuits prevent opening of telephone lines by access circuitry malfunctions.
