  • Patent number: 10298480
Abstract: The present invention includes various novel systems and methods for communication in a network. A System Environment Monitor is employed in some embodiments to extract from the network both real-time and historical Network Metrics at the Infrastructure Layer, as well as Application Metadata at the Application Layer. Network analytics facilitate decisions based upon the differing characteristics of Application Components and lower-level hardware components across multiple DTTs. In response, an SDN Controller generates modified sets of SDN Flows, and implements them in real time across a mixed technology (multi-DTT) network in a manner that avoids disrupting existing SDN Flows and other real-time network traffic.

  • Publication number: 20190052291
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, circuits, architectures and methods related to front-end architectures for wireless devices configured for uplink carrier aggregation. The disclosed methods dynamically route signals from a filter-less module to one of two modules with filters for filtering. The re-use of filters reduces the size of the filter-less module relative to a module that utilizes its own filters, thereby reducing costs, reducing size, and/or providing additional space for other modules or other functionality to be included in a wireless device.

  • Patent number: 10075199
Abstract: Disclosed herein are front-end architectures for wireless communication that support a wide range of combinations of uplink carrier aggregation (UL CA) and simultaneous multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) functionality. Embodiments can include a separate mid-band power amplifier module and a separate high band power amplifier module, and can establish various numbers of antenna outputs from these modules to connect to available diplexers or triplexers in selected ways to cover all intended use cases. Duplication of filters, duplexers, and/or quadplexers is reduced or minimized by re-using filtering in a selectively designed MIMO receive module that supports switch-combined TX filters. A UL CA power amplifier module makes use of the MIMO receive module, as well as the re-use of available filters in the mid-band primary power amplifier module.
