  • Patent number: 8719815
Abstract: A method for distributing a computer software package using a pre-requisite query is disclosed. A first pre-requisite query is associated with a package. Attribute information is obtained from one or more managed nodes across a computer network. The attribute information is stored on an administrative system. The first pre-requisite query is run using the attribute information on the administrative system to obtain a first result. The first result indicates whether the one or more managed nodes has the necessary attribute information for the package. The package is sent to the one or more managed nodes that have the necessary attribute information for the package.

  • Patent number: 7410336
Abstract: The tool for rewinding winch belts has a C-shaped member having a pair of parallel arms, a transverse portion joining the arms, and a shaft extending from the transverse portion away from the arms along a rotational axis thereof. Each arm has a boss protruding therefrom, with both bosses protruding toward each other along a working axis. One of the bosses has an inclined end defining a straight side facing a working direction and an inclined surface facing a releasing direction. In another aspect, a clevis and a pin extending through a diameter of the shaft define an articulation axis of the tool, extending at right angle from the working axis and the rotational axis. The articulation of the pin and the articulation of the bosses in the holes through the socket of a winch jointly define an universal joint along the tool's rotational axis.

  • Publication number: 20060110491
Abstract: A system for breaking a cap generated during vinification and for mixing the fermenting juice in a tank includes an injector to inject gas into the tank to form a bubble in the fermenting juice, a source of gas to supply the injector, and a controller operable to open and close the injector. The controller comprises a memory operable to store a mixing recipe that includes instructions for opening and closing the injector, and a processor operable to retrieve the mixing recipe from the memory and open and close the injector according to the mixing recipe's instructions. The bubble moves through the fermenting juice urging portions of the juice to flow relative to other portions. The juice that flows adjacent the cap shears the cap at the juice cap interface to break the cap into smaller portions. In addition, the bubble may pierce through the cap or cause the cap to tip into the fermenting juice to also break the cap into smaller portions.

  • Patent number: 6946844
Abstract: A conductivity testing device includes a body containing a magnet positioned to magnetically attach a mounting surface of the body to a surface to be tested. A testing chamber has an opening substantially in a plane with the mounting surface and valves positioned to allow the introducion of a fixed volume of liquid into the chamber. The chamber is sealed to the surface by a tubular resilint seal. An agitating device is mounted in the chamber for agitating liquid introduced into the chamber to wash the enclosed surface area. A testing circuit includes probes positioned in the chamber and a meter for indicating conductivity of a solution contained within the chamber. The testing circuit is electrically coupled to the agitating device in a first mode and connected to the probes in a second mode for testing conductivity of a solution in the chamber.
