Patent number: 11925336Abstract: A system and method used to deliver a valve delivery system carrying a valve to a target valve annulus in the heart includes a cable percutaneously introduced into a vasculature of a patient and positioned to run from a femoral vein, transseptally through the heart, to a femoral artery. The valve delivery system device is passed over an end of the cable at the arterial side and is secured to the cable. The valve delivery system device is pushed in a distal direction while the venous end of the cable is pulled in the proximal direction, to advance the valve delivery system to the target valve annulus. A left ventricle redirector positionable on the cable from the venous end has a distal end actively steered during advancement and positioning of the valve delivery device, exerting forces that steer the distal nose of the valve delivery device as it moves towards the valve annulus.Type: GrantFiled: March 1, 2021Date of Patent: March 12, 2024Assignee: Synecor LLCInventors: Richard S Stack, William L Athas, Kevin W Johnson

Patent number: 11725353Abstract: A highway work basket apparatus includes a vertically movable lift platform that can be selectively mounted on either side of the work basket. The frame of the work basket supports a pair of lift mechanisms mounted on opposing sides at the forward end of the work basket. A detachable lift platform is provided for selective attachment to one of the opposing lift mechanism to enable movement of highway markers between the levels of the truck bed and the surface of the highway. The floor of the lift platform has conveyors embedded therein and powered by the hydraulics of the highway truck on which the work basket is mounted to facilitate the movement of the highway markers onto or off of the surface of the highway. The frame of the work basket also supports a hitch receiver to permit a trailing attachment of a directional sign.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2019Date of Patent: August 15, 2023Assignee: Betts Platinum Group, LLCInventors: Richard S. Johnson, Collin E. Johnson, Jason M. Rohrer

Publication number: 20210285170Abstract: A debris removal apparatus can be mounted on the front of a suitable vehicle for movement over the surface of the highway. The apparatus is formed with a central member and opposing wings pivotally mounted on the sides of the central member. The wings are independently pivotally movable by hydraulic cylinders forwardly and rearwardly of the central member to permit a selective placement of the debris on the shoulder of the highway. Hydraulic cylinders also control the vertical positioning of the apparatus between a lowered operative position and a raised transport position. Openings in the structure of the apparatus are covered with a rigid mesh that allows the passage of air through the apparatus, but not debris. The lower edge of the central member and wings are provided with a detachable wear strip. A control mechanism limits the speed of the vehicle when the apparatus is in the operative position.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2021Publication date: September 16, 2021Applicant: Betts Platinum Group, PLLC, dba J-TechInventors: Richard S. Patent number: 10196003Abstract: A work basket includes a frame having a work platform mounted thereon to permit people to move about the work basket to position supplies on a highway surface from the vehicle on which the work basket is mounted. The work basket has an adjustable hitch mechanism to permit vertical positioning of the hitch for engagement with the hitch receiver on the support vehicle. A pair of outrigger arms mounted on the frame of the work basket on opposing sides of the hitch member is horizontally and vertically adjustable to position a foot member on the distal end of the outrigger arm into engagement with flat surfaces on opposing sides of the support vehicle to stabilize the work basket. Vertical adjustment of the outrigger arm is accomplished by manipulation of an adjustment screw positioned at the support bracket and by the vertical positioning of the outrigger within the frame member.Type: GrantFiled: November 16, 2016Date of Patent: February 5, 2019Assignee: J-Tech, Inc.Inventors: Richard S. Patent number: 10195978Abstract: An apparatus facilitates the deployment and retrieval of highway panels and includes a work basket mountable on the rearward end of a truck to be vertically moveable relative thereto. A ramp member is detachably mounted on a selected side of the work basket to be movable therewith. A lift member is detachably mounted on a four-bar lift linkage carried by the truck along the selected side thereof. The lift member is vertically movable by the lift linkage to raise the highway panels from the ramp member to the level of the truck bed on which the highway panels are transported. Both the ramp and lift members are formed with rollers on the top surface to facilitate the movement of the highway panels in both deployment and retrieval. Retrieval is accomplished by moving the truck rearwardly and tipping the highway panel so the ramp member can slide underneath the base.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2015Date of Patent: February 5, 2019Assignee: J-Tech, Inc.Inventors: Richard S.
