  • Patent number: 7703369
Abstract: A combination bullet seating and factory crimp die includes a collet closing die, a crimping collet, a die cap, a seating lock, a bullet depth adjustment screw and a trigger. The crimping collet is inserted into the collet closing die. The trigger is placed in the collet closing die. The bullet depth adjustment screw is threaded into the seating lock. The seating lock is inserted into the die cap. The seating lock includes a sear groove for receiving a C-ring sear. The collet closing die is threaded into the die cap. A bullet seater is retained in the seating lock. In use, a bullet on a mouth of a cartridge case is pushed into the crimping collet. The bullet seater seats the bullet. The trigger pushes the C-ring sear into the sear groove, which allows the mouth of the cartridge to be crimped without moving the bullet.

  • Patent number: 7707347
Abstract: An apparatus is described for data processing in a computer system. The apparatus comprises a data processing device having a data processing master, a functionally coupled data processor core, and a functionally coupled data processor slave. Both the data processing master and the data processing slave are coupled to a common bus or common crossbar switch. The data processing device processes the data associated with transfers to or from the data processor slave. System masters will direct transactions that require data processing to the data processing slave, which will indirectly interact with the target memory slave. System masters will direct transactions that do not require data processing, directly to the target memory slave.

  • Publication number: 20100095448
Abstract: A swimming environment is disclosed that enables a swimmer to select water of a desired temperature by moving between swimming regions that are separate swimming pools and/or sub-regions of a swimming pool. Pools can be divided into sub-regions by thermally isolating barriers that are sheets or strips hanging from floats, sheets attached to pool boundaries, or solid barriers. Strips can be flexible or rigid, and can be linked by magnets. Barriers can be designed to avoid swimmer injury and absorb wave energy. Swimmers can move past barriers without fully leaving the water by submerging floats, separating strips, moving through a barrier gap, traversing a slide, and/or moving through a door. Doors can be single or double, swinging, sliding, revolving, or pocket. A water temperature control system ensures that none of the regions exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and can include a heater, cooler, and/or heat pump.

  • Publication number: 20100100788
Abstract: The present invention is a programmable QC LDPC encoder for encoding user data. The encoder may be configurable for implementation with a read channel. The encoder may include a plurality of barrel shifter circuits. The barrel shifter circuits are configured for generating a plurality of parity bits based on interleaved user bits received by the encoder. The barrel shifter circuits are further configured for outputting the parity bits. The encoder may further include an encoder interleaver memory. The encoder interleaver memory may be communicatively coupled with the barrel shifter circuits and may receive the parity bits output from the barrel shifter circuits. The encoder interleaver may be configured for interleaving the parity bits. Further, the encoder may be configured for outputting the interleaved parity bits to a multiplexer. The barrel shifter circuits may generate the plurality of parity bits via an encoding algorithm: p=u*GT.

  • Publication number: 20100098139
Abstract: In the disclosed system and method phase (and optionally amplitude) shifts are applied at an OFDM transmitter to resource blocks within a given slot to implement Crest Factor Reduction (CFR). The phase shifts may differ between resource blocks and are selected to reduce the peaks in the OFDM waveform. The resource block phase shifts do not affect the demodulation process when the equalization at the receiver is performed on individual blocks separately. As a result, the crest factor reduction is achieved without increasing the EVM or BER in the received signal. In addition, a computational efficient algorithm for determining the resource block phase shifts needed for CFR is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100098093
Abstract: A method for identifying alternative end-to-end media paths through Internet protocol realms using substitute session description protocol parameters is disclosed. The method includes receiving a session description protocol offer, including a list of internet protocol realms. The list may include any number of previously traversed through internet protocol realms and/or secondary Internet protocol realms. The method continues with determining the outgoing Internet protocol realm for a media path based on unspecified signaling criteria. Finally, the method includes that if the outgoing Internet protocol realm to be traversed through is on the list of previously traversed through and/or secondary Internet protocol realms, bypassing at least one border gateway associated with the incoming and previously traversed through Internet protocol realms.

  • Publication number: 20100097511
Abstract: A global shutter compatible pixel circuit comprising a reset gate (RG) transistor is provided in which a dynamic voltage is applied to the drain of the reset gate transistor in order to reduce a floating diffusion (FD) leakage therethrough during signal hold time. The drain voltage of the reset gate transistor is held at a lower voltage than a circuit supply voltage to minimize the off-state leakage through the RG transistor, thus reducing the change in the voltage at the floating diffusion during the signal hold time. In addition, a design structure for such a circuit providing a dynamic voltage to the drain of a reset gate of a pixel circuit is also provided.

  • Publication number: 20100097476
Abstract: A method for adjusting image capture settings for an image capture device is provided. The method initiates with capturing depth information of a scene at the image capture device. Depth regions are identified based on the captured depth information. Then, an image capture setting is adjusted independently for each of the depth regions. An image of the scene is captured with the image capture device, wherein the image capture setting is applied to each of the depth regions when the image of the scene is captured.
