  • Publication number: 20210095643
Abstract: Provided is a modular tool for installing a platform into a tower section of a wind turbine tower, comprising a first body element, a second body element, wherein each body element has a first base plate, on which the tower section rests in use of the modular tool, and a second base plate, which rests on a foundation in use of the modular tool, wherein the base plates are spaced apart from each other and are arranged parallel to each other, and at least one connecting beam that detachable connects the body elements to each other and that defines a width of a gap between the body elements. Due to the fact that the at least one connecting beam detachable connects the body elements to each other, the modular tool can be easily adapted to different tower diameters by replacing the at least one connecting beam.

  • Publication number: 20210094336
Abstract: Lithographic printing plate precursors are prepared with a unique aluminum-containing substrate and one or more radiation-sensitive imageable layers. The aluminum-containing substrate is prepared by three separate and sequential anodizing processes to provide an inner aluminum oxide layer having an average dry thickness (Ti) of 500-1,500 nm and a multiplicity of inner pores having an average inner pore diameter (Di) larger than 0 and <15 nm. A formed middle aluminum oxide layer has a dry thickness (Tm) of 60-300 nm and a multiplicity of middle pores of average middle pore diameter (Dm) of 15-60 nm, arranged over the inner aluminum oxide layer. A formed outer aluminum oxide layer comprises a multiplicity of outer pores having an average outer pore diameter (Do) of 5-35 nm and an average dry thickness (To) of 30-150 nm, arranged over the middle aluminum oxide layer. Dm is larger than Do that is larger than Di.

  • Publication number: 20210094161
Abstract: A portable linear fastener driving tool is provided that drive staples, nails, or other linearly driven fasteners. The tool uses a gas spring principle, in which a cylinder filled with compressed gas is used to quickly force a piston through a driving stroke movement, while a driver also drives a fastener into a workpiece. The piston/driver is then moved back to its starting position by use of a rotary-to-linear lifter, and the piston again compresses the gas above the piston, thereby preparing the tool for another driving stroke. The driver has protrusions along its edges that contact the lifter, which lifts the driver during a return stroke. A pivotable latch is controlled to move into either an interfering position or a non-interfering position with respect to the driver protrusions, and acts as a safety device, by preventing the driver from making a full driving stroke at an improper time.

  • Publication number: 20210098940
Abstract: A system includes an electronic connector configured to be coupled to a connector module and an electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorber proximate to and at least partially surrounding the electronic connector. The EMI absorber may be positioned as close as possible to the electronic connector and may be attached to the electronic connector. This positioning of the EMI absorber at least partially absorbs EMI present at the electronic connector and thereby reduces the noise on electronic signals being communicated on conductors of the electronic connector as well as reducing overall radiated emissions from an electronic system including the electronic connector.
