  • Publication number: 20210099457
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for independently configurable sub-profiles that can be used to express intent within a user profile. A sub-profile is a portion of the user profile that can be assigned an independent set of visibility settings from the other portions of the user profile. A user may add profile data to a sub-profile and select visibility settings for the sub-profile that define access to the profile data included in the sub-profile. Accordingly, access to the profile data included in the sub-profile is managed according to a different set of visibility settings that the profile data included in other portions of the user profile (e.g., profile data not included in the sub-profile). This allows user to make certain profile data available to a different audience of users, either through accessing the user profile and/or through search.

  • Publication number: 20210096714
Abstract: Systems and methods are described that include providing, on a touchscreen display of an electronic device, a stream of content items, at least some of which are associated with a corresponding display anchor. Inputs are detected at the touchscreen display and the inputs are associated with a scroll speed. The scroll speed may be based on a detected distance between the inputs on the touchscreen and an elapsed time between at least two of the inputs. In response to determining a lack of input for a predefined time period, a display anchor can be determined and selected. The display anchor may correspond to a content item to be used as a pause location for the stream. The scrolling of the stream of content items can be paused at the pause location to use the selected display anchor to display the content item in a top viewable portion of the display.

  • Publication number: 20210093470
Abstract: At least partial function of a human limb is restored by surgically removing at least a portion of an injured or diseased human limb from a surgical site of an individual and transplanting a selected muscle into the remaining biological body of the individual, followed by contacting the transplanted selected muscle, or an associated nerve, with an electrode, to thereby control a device, such as a prosthetic limb, linked to the electrode. Simulating proprioceptive sensory feedback from a device includes mechanically linking at least one pair of agonist and antagonist muscles, wherein a nerve innervates each muscle, and supporting each pair with a support, whereby contraction of the agonist muscle of each pair will cause extension of the paired antagonist muscle.
