Abstract: A crossbow cocking device attaches to both a user's wrist and a crossbow and permits a user to prepare a shot without startling the animal to be hunted. The device includes a first strap having a first end and a second end. The first and second ends define an aperture extending from a top side to a bottom side of the first strap when the first end is coupled to the second end. The aperture is configured for positioning around a wrist of a user. A first fastener and a second fastener couple the first and second ends of the first strap. A second strap is coupled to and extends outwardly from the first strap. A third fastener is coupled to the second strap and is configured for coupling to a crossbow string.
