  • Publication number: 20220167878
Abstract: Example posture analysis systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a computing system identifies a deviation of a user's posture from a predetermined posture based on visual data associated with the user. The user is informed of the deviation via a graphical image displayed on a display device. The user is then provided with instructions for correcting the deviation via the graphical image displayed on the display device.

  • Patent number: 11347506
Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program are described, the apparatus comprising decode circuitry configured to decode instructions, and processing circuitry responsive to the instructions decoded by the decode circuitry to perform data processing. In response to the decode circuitry decoding a memory copy size determining instruction specifying as operands a source memory address, a destination memory address and a total number of bytes to be copied from a source block of memory locations indicated by the source memory address to a destination block of memory locations indicated by the destination memory address, the processing circuitry is configured to determine, based on at least one of the source memory address and the destination memory address, a memory copy size indicating value indicative of a subset of the total number of bytes to be copied. A data transfer instruction is also described.

  • Patent number: 11334082
Abstract: Autonomous machine navigation techniques may generate a three-dimensional point cloud that represents at least a work region based on feature data and matching data. Pose data associated with points of the three-dimensional point cloud may be generated that represents poses of an autonomous machine. A boundary may be determined using the pose data for subsequent navigation of the autonomous machine in the work region. Non-vision-based sensor data may be used to determine a pose. The pose may be updated based on the vision-based pose data. The autonomous machine may be navigated within the boundary of the work region based on the updated pose. The three-dimensional point cloud may be generated based on data captured during a touring phase. Boundaries may be generated based on data captured during a mapping phase.

  • Patent number: 11334125
Abstract: An information handling system bezel provides a dynamic visual effect with layers of patterns coupled to the information handling system housing that provide a dynamic visual effect for an end user as the end user viewing angle changes. For example, an outer layer of the bezel has a first pattern, such as parallel vent lines, an inner layer of the bezel has a second pattern, such as geometric shapes, and a middle layer has both the first and second patterns aligned with the outer and inner layers to provide the dynamic visual effect based upon viewing angle through the outer layer to the inner layer, such as with a contrasting color of the first and/or second patterns at the middle layer.

  • Patent number: 11319794
Abstract: A pumpjack monitor includes a processor and memory, a communicator for communicating with other monitors and a server, a sensor module having at least one strain gauge, and accelerometers for determining vibration and position of the monitor. Other sensors may be internal, including sensors for polished-rod rotation, and linked to the monitoring device wirelessly. Some embodiments serve as network hubs or bridges for other monitors. The server is configured to generate surface cards. A method for monitoring of pumpjacks uses the monitor to sense changes in pumpjack parameters, and communicate the changes to a server when changes exceed configurable thresholds. Some embodiments include determining location with GPS and/or relaying signals from other monitoring devices, smart power management, gas sensing, and relaying of signals from external wireless-equipped sensors such as valve position sensors, oil level sensors, and pressure sensors.

  • Patent number: 11312971
Abstract: The invention provides modified DGAT1 proteins that are modified in the N-terminal region upstream of the acyl-Co A binding site. The modified DGAT proteins show enhanced activity, without reduced protein accumulation when expressed in cells. The modified DGAT1 proteins of the invention can be expressed in cells to increase cellular lipid accumulation and/or modify the cellular lipid profile. The invention also provides polynucleotides encoding the modified DGAT1 proteins, cells and compositions comprising the polynucleotides or modified DGAT proteins, and methods using the modified DGAT1 proteins to produce oil.

  • Patent number: 11273893
Abstract: Described herein are examples of stiffening shafts, which in some cases are adapted to couple to a marine vessel. An exemplary stiffening shaft can be used to extend a motor from the marine vessel or be used as a shallow water stick anchor. The exemplary stiffening shafts can include a plurality of linked vertebrae stacked to form a column and at least one inelastic tension element threaded longitudinally through the plurality of vertebrae. The shaft can have a flexible configuration when the at least one tension element is released and a stiffened linear configuration when the tension element is tensed to react to torque and bending moments. Alternatively, the stiffening shaft can be used as a shallow water stick anchor for a marine vessel by piercing the bottom of a marine environment (e.g., a sea bed, a lake bed, a river bed, etc.).

  • Patent number: 11267548
Abstract: This application describes clutch mechanisms for use in a steering control system, e.g., a steering control system used to steer a trolling motor for a boat. Such clutch mechanisms can reduce and avoid damage to the steering control system (e.g., a steering motor) when the system is subjected to unusually large impact loads (e.g., when the trolling motor or boat contacts an obstruction). The clutches described in this application can be used to decouple the steering control system from a steering shaft (or other drive mechanism) upon application of a large impact load, thus reducing damage to and increasing the lifespan of such system. In some cases, the clutch is a ball and spring mechanism. In other cases, the clutch is a slip tooth mechanism.

  • Patent number: 11263016
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus including input circuitry that receives input data. Output circuitry outputs a sequence of instructions to be executed by data processing circuitry, at least some of the instructions being grouped into functions and generation circuitry performs a generation process to generate the sequence of instructions using the input data. The generation process causes at least one of the instructions in the sequence of instructions to store a state of control flow speculation performed during execution of the sequence of instructions and the stored state of control flow speculation is maintained between the functions.

  • Patent number: 11254171
Abstract: An inflator disposed within a tubeless tire for inflating the tubeless tire. A rechargeable electric storage disposed within a tubeless for providing electricity. An electric air compressor is mounted on an inside surface of the rim of the tubeless tire within the pressure cavity of the tubeless tire. The electric air compressor and an air pressure sensor disposed within the tubeless tire runs by a controller. The electric air compressor has a compressed air inlet vented to atmosphere in a custom valve stem through a conventional hole of a valve stem in the rim of the tubeless tire. A motion activated power generator recharges the rechargeable electric storage. A short-range radio transmits measured pressure data for each tire to a central OBD module plugged into in the vehicle. The central OBD module connects through a smartphone indirectly or directly to a central server via a networked cellular radio tower.

  • Patent number: 11256513
Abstract: There is provided an apparatus that includes input circuitry to receive input data and output circuitry to output a sequence of instructions to be executed by data processing circuitry. Generation circuitry performs a generation process to generate the sequence of instructions using the input data. The sequence of instructions comprises an indirect control flow instruction having a field that indicates where a target of the indirect control flow instruction is stored. The generation process causes at least one of the instructions in the sequence of instructions to store a state of control flow speculation after execution of the indirect control flow instruction. The at least one of the instructions in the sequence of instructions that stores the state of control flow speculation is inhibited from being subject to data value speculation by the data processing circuitry.
