  • Publication number: 20240231696
Abstract: With ever-increasing capacities and performance demanded in new storage devices, the number of control table data entries are increased to store more updates stemming from the increased number of read and/or write operations. To avoid becoming a bottleneck, devices, such as storage devices, and other similar methods and systems as described herein efficiently manage control table sets to reduce latency. This can be accomplished by designating a specific position for each control table set and storing updates to such control table sets in a designated position. Furthermore, data can be efficiently kept in the volatile memory, such as SRAM, or evicted from the volatile memory to the non-volatile memory, such as NAND. Determinations can occur for when the read/write operations should be performed using volatile memory or non-volatile memory. These determinations can be decided dynamically and based on the storage device state and incoming workload, resulting in lower overall latencies.

  • Publication number: 20240233228
Abstract: Animations of medical images are rendered. At least one input is received. Each input is a medical image dataset. A set of keyframes associated with the received input is selected. A keyframe is predetermined values of a set of rendering parameters. Intermediary frames are generated in a temporal sequence between two consecutive, according to a temporal ordering, keyframes. Generating the intermediary frames is based on optimizing a perceptual metric associated with the selected set of keyframes and the generated intermediary frames. The perceptual metric is optimized as a function of values of the set of rendering parameters associated with each of the intermediary frames. An animation using the generated intermediary frames and the selected set of keyframes is rendered.

  • Patent number: 12032929
Abstract: A cross domain generalization system for industrial artificial intelligence (AI) applications is disclosed. A target encoder subsystem obtains target data from a target machine product and generates lower dimensional data for obtained target data using a target artificial intelligence (AI) model. The generated lower dimensional data are corresponding to a plurality of target embeddings data. The target encoder subsystem further applies the plurality of target embeddings data into a source classifier AI model. A source classifier subsystem predicts a quality of the target machine product by generating class labels for each of the plurality of target embeddings data based on a result of the classifier AI model. The goal of the present invention is to learn features or representations such that the correlation with a label space is similar both in source and target domains while being invariant of data distributions.

  • Patent number: 12020789
Abstract: Systems and techniques for time-series forecasting are illustrated. One embodiment includes a method for refining time-series forecasts, the method obtains timestep information including baseline information, a time gap, and context information. The baseline information includes information known about the system at a time when the multivariate time-series is generated. The context information includes at least one vector of time-independent background variables related to the system. The method determines, based on the timestep information, parameter predictions for the system at a first timestep and a second timestep. The method derives actual state values for the system at the first timestep. The method updates the parameter predictions for the system at the second timestep, using a gating function, based on a discrepancy between: the parameter predictions for the system at the first timestep, and the actual state values for the system at the first timestep.

  • Patent number: 12014160
Abstract: Techniques are described herein for translating a source code snippet from a first programming language to a second programming language independently of sequence-to-sequence decoding. In various implementations, the source code snippet written in the first programming language may be processed using an encoder portion of a transformer network to generate an embedding of the source code snippet. The embedding of the source code snippet may be processed using an all-pair attention layer to generate an attended embedding of the source code snippet. The attended embedding of the source code snippet may be processed using an output layer to generate, by way of a single transformation of the attended embedding of the source code snippet, data indicative of a translation of the source code snippet in the second programming language.
