Abstract: Systems and methods may provide for receiving a first request from a remote device for access to content on a second remote device, and invoking a proxy server embedded in an HTML5-compliant browser on a local device. Additionally, the first remote device may be provided with access to the content on the second remote device via the proxy server. Moreover, input may be received from a user interface of the local device, wherein a second request may be transmitted to the first remote device for access to content on a third remote device. In one example, the first remote device is unauthorized with respect to the content on the second remote device, and the local device is unauthorized with respect to the content on the third remote device.

Abstract: A device, method, and system for developing, managing, acquiring and playing electronic board games. Game developers may illustratively access one or more electronic game board, game piece templates and/or other game development application software from a game server to design and develop electronic board games. Such electronic board games may then be acquired by game players in the form of full, limited and/or modifiable versions. A game service module of the game server makes a number of electronic board game related services available to game players for managing, playing and acquiring electronic board game collections and/or for enhancing or facilitating electronic board game playing.

Abstract: Embodiments utilize a framework for modeling user's social roles in online self-expression tools such as blog or social networking, via semantic modeling techniques. The different ways users engage with content when stating explicit interests in their profile and via social expressions in a community are modeled. Certain themes guide the patterns users follow for expressing their interests in this community. An embodiment allows users to track how their posts and comments reflect with their online behavior. An embodiment infers the needs of the online community and makes suggestions or recommendations or sends alerts to users. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products that allow for the determination of human presence in a room where content is being presented. The audio that is associated with the content may be captured, along with the audio that is being generated collectively by whatever sources may be in the room including the presentation of the content. Features may be extracted from both the content audio and the room audio. These features may then be compared, and the differences may be quantified. If the differences are significant, then human presence may be inferred.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dynamically creating collaborative teams and managing collaborative work of a team are generally disclosed herein. One example embodiment includes the dynamic creation of a collaborative team by creating an association between team members via a managing module. The managing module may be capable of managing, among other things, team members on a team, tasks and goals of each member of the team, as well as documentation associated with the team. In some embodiments, the managing module may use a chat or messaging protocol to manage collaborative modifications to documents of the team.

Abstract: A device for communicating via a network includes a processor, a memory containing persona instructions to cause the processor to obtain one of multiple persona profiles for use while communicating via the network, each persona profile controlling access to personal information of a user tailored to the type of communications being performed. A communication mechanism couples the network to perform communications between the device and the network using the obtained persona profile to share limited personal information.

Abstract: A system includes a first mobile device configured to initiate communication with at least one other mobile device. The first mobile device includes a status indicator configured to provide a persistent visual indication to a user of the status of a mute function of the first user device during the active communication. The first mobile device further includes a user interface configured to receive predefined user input and allow the user to toggle between mute and un-mute states based on the user input regardless of whether a display of the device is shut off and/or the user interface is locked.

Abstract: There is disclosed a system, including apparatus, methods and computer programs, for running native software applications (apps) and HTML5 web-based apps on a computing device, particularly a mobile computing device, in a multitasking mode of operation. In one embodiment, touch screen displays having one or more browsers are adapted to run one or more HTML5 apps, and receive input from hand gestures. One or more software modules execute on the operating system and are responsive to a dragging gesture applied to an HTML5 app displayed in a full screen mode, to subdivide the screen display and display the HTML5 app in one of the subdivided areas and display icons used to launch a second HTML5 app in a different one of the subdivided areas. The second HTML5 app is run concurrently with the first HTML5 app in order to provide multi-tasking between the first and second apps.

Abstract: Technologies for dynamically implementing an image protection policy include a camera device with a camera to capture an image of at least one person. The camera device determines a location in the image of at least one person in the image, determines a location of at least one personal computing device, and maps the personal computing devices to the persons captured in the image based on the determined device and image locations. The camera device may broadcast an announcement of the creation of the image to the personal computing devices, negotiate an image protection policy with each of the personal computing devices, and implement the negotiated image protection policy.

Abstract: A computing device for combining one or more containers of one or more applications is provided that includes a processor, a memory, and a dashboard module configured to access a first application that includes a plurality of first containers, access a second application that includes a plurality of second containers, and generate a dashboard based, at least in part, on the first application and the second application. A container mapping module can also be provided and configured to map a particular one of the plurality of first containers to a first functionality, and map a particular one of the plurality of second containers to a second functionality. The dashboard can include the particular one of the plurality of first containers and the particular one of the plurality of second containers, where the dashboard is provided at an assigned display location of the computing device.

Abstract: Systems, apparatus, and methods of authentication utilizing contextual data to authenticate individuals and prevent security breaches are described herein. An example proxy engine may monitor interactions with a computing device to obtain contextual data unique to a user. The contextual data may be utilized to generate unique challenge questions in response to requests for access to a secure resource, and may eliminate the need for a user to remember credentials to access the resource. Challenge questions may be limited to a single use and vary in difficulty in proportion to the value of the resource. In response to correct responses to challenge question(s), the proxy engine may access a vault containing a credential authorizing access to the resource. The vault and proxy engine may be entirely contained on the computing device or they may be implemented on a remote apparatus accessed via an application or interface on the computing device.

The routing of the call may be in response to a visual condition with respect to a user of the first device. Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for managing and distributing device and/or software settings. In some embodiments, the systems and methods permit a first device to upload settings information and/or user information to a network server. The network server may store such settings information and post it for download by at least one second device. Mechanisms for establishing a trust rating for such settings information are also described.

Abstract: Generally, this disclosure describes a method and system for route personalization. A method may include, in an embodiment, requesting that a user of a computing device provide a trip modifier in response to a request from the user to map a route from a first location to a second location; acquiring objective data related to the trip modifier for at least one possible route from the first location to the second location; generating a weighted route recommendation associated with each possible route based on the acquired objective data and the trip modifier; and displaying each possible route and its associated weighted route recommendation on the computing device, wherein the trip modifier comprises at least one user characteristic and each weighted route recommendation is configured to provide a personalized route recommendation to the user for the respective associated possible route.
