  • Patent number: 10928829
Abstract: In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter involves a system and method for dynamic object identification and environmental changes for use with autonomous vehicles. For efficient detection of changes for autonomous, or partially autonomous vehicles, embodiments may use a technique based on background removal and image subtraction which use motion detection rather than full object identification for all objects in an image. Road side units proximate to a road segment or virtual road side units in the cloud, other vehicles or mobile device (e.g., drones) are used to retrieve and store background images for a road segment, to be used by the autonomous vehicle. • Patent number: 10796012
Abstract: Methods and systems that allow a user to see the people or groups who have access to files that are maintained by a plurality of cloud content sharing services. In particular, the user may see what specific party has access to each particular file or directory, regardless of multiple cloud content sharing services involved. Moreover, a user interface and exposed application program interface allows the user to manipulate the permissions, e.g., granting access, to another person or group, to a file or directory. The user interface may also allow the user to terminate access to the file or directory for a person or group. The user's action to change a permission may be effected independently of the particular cloud content sharing service.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing a software defined industrial system are described herein. For example, an orchestrated system of distributed nodes may run an application, including modules implemented on the distributed nodes. In response to a node failing, a module may be redeployed to a replacement node. In an example, self-descriptive control applications and software modules are provided in the context of orchestratable distributed systems. The self-descriptive control applications may be executed by an orchestrator or like control device and use a module manifest to generate a control system application. For example, an edge control node of the industrial system may include a system on a chip including a microcontroller (MCU) to convert IO data. The system on a chip includes a central processing unit (CPU) in an initial inactive state, which may be changed to an activated state in response an activation signal.

  • Patent number: 10764635
Abstract: A system and method for real-time alteration of media content based on stress monitoring is disclosed. A computer system present a single media content item in two distinct content streams to a first and second user. Using sensor generated data the computer system measures at least one user response indicator for the first and second user and estimates a stress level for the first and second users. The computer system determines whether the estimated stress level for the first user exceeds a first predetermined stress threshold. In accordance with a determination that the estimated stress level for the first user exceeds a first predetermined stress threshold the computer system alters the first stream of the presented media content item to modify the particular portion of the media content item associated with the estimated stress level for the first user.
