  • Patent number: 12625542
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing a data processing system are disclosed. To manage the data processing system, a workload request may be obtained, and a type of the workload may be identified. Based on the type of the workload, an optimized frequency for a hardware component to perform the workload and a power overhead for configuring the hardware component based on the optimized frequency may be obtained. A first power consumption estimate may be obtained for performing the workload during an available time slot, and configuring the hardware component based on the optimized frequency. A second power consumption estimate may be obtained for performing the workload without configuring the hardware component. A preferred configuration for the available time slot to minimize power consumption may be identified. A data processing system and a time slot for performance of the workload may be selected in which the power consumption estimate is lowest.

  • Patent number: 12598116
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing service deployment are disclosed. To deploy services, dependencies and other characteristics (such as context data, capability data, placement rules, and workflow data) of services and the infrastructure boundaries in which the services are running may be dynamically collected, analyzed and updated. By dynamically analyzing dependencies and other characteristics (such as context data, capability data, placement rules, and workflow data) of services and the infrastructure boundaries, efficiency of use of computing resources may be improved by recycling existing workflow; statically defined operations and hard-coded conditional logic of services may also be avoided each time an environment in which the services are running has changed.

  • Patent number: 12569698
Abstract: A method of treating a cancer with magnetic hyperthermia therapy includes heating an aqueous metal chloride mixture to a temperature of 60° C. to 100° C. and reacting the aqueous metal chloride mixture with an ammonia hydroxide solution to obtain metal oxide nanoparticles. The method further includes sonicating a buffered aqueous suspension of the metal oxide nanoparticles and a Nigella sativa-derived melanin to obtain melanin-coated magnetite nanoparticles (Mel-MNPs), contacting the Mel-MNPs with the cancer, and applying an external alternating magnetic field to the Mel-MNPs to generate heat and to hyperthermically treat the cancer.

  • Publication number: 20260005967
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for managing operation of a data processing system that provides computer implemented services are disclosed. To do so, a request to perform a workload may be obtained. A type of the workload may be identified based on the request, and based on this type, computing resources required for performance of the workload may be identified. Potential locations for the performance of the workload may be filtered based on the required computing resources to identify a portion of the potential locations. Based on associations between types of workloads and sets of network characteristics, a set of network characteristics may be identified for the type. Based on the set of network characteristics, the potential locations may be further filtered to identify a sub-portion of the potential locations. Based on this identification, performance of the workload by at least one data processing system of the sub-portion may be initiated.

  • Publication number: 20250245053
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing performance of workloads by compute resources are disclosed. A workload may be performed by a portion of the compute resources in order to facilitate operation of an inference model. The workload type may be identified based on a lifecycle phase of the inference model, and the workload type may be used to obtain a resource consumption profile for the workload. Using the resource consumption profile, target compute resources usable to complete performance of the workload timely may be identified. Performance of the workload may be initiated using the target compute resources to obtain a workload result. A computer-implemented service may be provided using the workload result.

  • Patent number: 12143421
Abstract: A method and system for outcome-based compliance and security configurations for IT environments. Existing solutions directed to implementing multi-tier configurations on bare-metal IT infrastructure tend to require specialized tools and skills on a tier-by-tier basis. A more unified approach, where a single or singleton configuration that defines and implements the desired state (or outcome) of one or more tiers, is sought and thus proposed. Within this disclosure, implementation of security and regulatory compliance policies, is emphasized.

  • Publication number: 20240248761
Abstract: Methods and systems for managing service deployment are disclosed. To deploy services, dependencies and other characteristics of services may be dynamically analyzed through self-descriptions of the services. The dependencies and other characteristics may be used to identify any number of instances of various instances for deployment to provide a complete service. By dynamically analyzing the self-description of the services, efficiency of use of computing resources may be improved by limiting the deployed services to only those necessary for operation of the complete service.

  • Publication number: 20230297918
Abstract: A method and system for drift remediation of outcome-based configurations for IT environments. Within this disclosure, remediation of any drifts, from said desired outcome(s), is emphasized.

  • Patent number: 11748171
Abstract: A method and system for collaborative workload placement and optimization. Specifically, the disclosed method and system entail implementing metric exchange between hosts in a clustered or non-clustered environment to perform infrastructure workload placement and optimization decisions. The exchange of metrics may be performed through a lightweight service, which would not impact any existing environment resource utilization. Further, resource utilization maps may be used to offer near real-time tracking of resource utilization across the aforementioned hosts, thereby facilitating resource utilization forecasting for the efficient placement and optimization of workloads throughout the environment.

  • Patent number: 11720454
Abstract: A method for managing data includes obtaining, by a management module, a resource device replacement request specifying a first resource device, in response to the resource device replacement request: updating a resource allocation master list to specify a failed status of the first resource device, selecting a second resource device using the resource allocation master list based on a standby status of the second resource device, updating a resource device entry associated with the second resource device to specify an in use status of the second resource device, and initiating a resource device replacement for the second resource device.

  • Patent number: 11663048
Abstract: A method and system for on-premises to cloud workload migration through cyclic deployment and evaluation. Existing processes for transferring on-premises workloads onto the public cloud are often painstakingly manual and laborious, in order to ensure proper workload interoperability between the different infrastructures. To address this existing dilemma in inter-infrastructure workload migration, the disclosed method and system employs a cyclic monitoring, deploying, and evaluating scheme to automate and implement optimal strategies for migrating on-premises workloads onto public and/or hybrid cloud computing environments.
