  • Patent number: 10599284
Abstract: A three-dimensional model can be presented in a two-dimensional digital canvas on a computer display. User input directed at the three-dimensional model in the two-dimensional canvas can be received. The three-dimensional model can be manipulated in response to the user input. A two-dimensional view of the three-dimensional model can be displayed. Corresponding data structures for the model, the canvas, and the two-dimensional objects in the data structure can be maintained and updated. One or more additional techniques can also be utilized in a computer system, such as continuous user-controlled model rotation in a two-dimensional canvas; viewport autofit and non-autofit modes; rotating the model around a camera look-at point; ghosting outside the viewport; normalizing modeling units and values; preset buttons with on-button previews; user-defined view presets; and/or two-dimensional image substitution.

  • Patent number: 10592090
Abstract: Smooth animation effects during zooming are provided by retaining content displayed at a previous zoom level. If the zoom operation is a zoom out operation, new content is stretched to a current zoom level, aligned with the retained content, and placed underneath it. If the zoom operation is a zoom in operation, new content is scaled down to the current zoom level, aligned with the retained content, and displayed on top of the retained content. The new content is then zoomed with the retained content. The retained content is then deleted. When zooming out, the retained content fades out. When zooming in, the new content fades in. Smooth scrolling animation is also provided by pre-rendering a portion of content and teleporting to a final viewport position and thereby skipping over blank content.

  • Patent number: 10577262
Abstract: An electrolyzing system is provided for producing higher quantities of electrolyzed waters within prescribed pH ranges for optimum usage and which can be operated for producing greater quantities of alkaline electrolyzed water than acidic electrolyzed water consistent with a users requirements. The system includes an electrolytic cartridge having cathode and anode cells each comprising a pair of electrodes disposed in laterally spaced coplanar relation to each other, with a respective ion permeable membrane in spaced relation to the pairs of electrodes. The cells are separated with a common separator plate that maintains the ion permeable membranes in parallel relation with the respective electrodes and which facilitates the communication of brine solution from a brine bath to both cells. The cells further can be operate with staggered input currents and the redirection of electrolyzed water between the cells for optimum control of pH levels of the resulting products.

  • Publication number: 20200064557
Abstract: A non-contact system for measuring an insertion loss of a cable assembly with cable fibers includes a light source system that emits light and a launch connector supporting launch fibers. A detector system includes receive fibers supported by a receive connector. The detector system has detectors optically coupled to the receive fibers, with one detector directly optically coupled to the light source system for calibration. A first movable stage supports the launch connector and a second movable stage supports the receive connector. A launch optical system images output end faces of the launch fibers onto input end faces of the cable fibers of the cable assembly. A receive optical system images output end faces of the cable fibers onto input end faces of the receive fibers. The light exiting the receive fibers is detected and processed to determine the insertion loss of the cable assembly.

  • Publication number: 20190355383
Abstract: Many processes for audio signal processing can benefit from voice activity detection, which aims to detect the presence of speech as opposed to silence or noise. The present disclosure describes, among other things, leveraging energy-based features of voice and insights on first and second formant frequencies of vowels to provide a low-complexity and low-power voice activity detector. A pair of two channels is provided whereby each channel is configured to detect voice activity in respective frequency bands of interest. Simultaneous activity detected in both channels can be a sufficient condition for determining that voice is present. More channels or pairs of channels can be used to detect different types of voices to improve detection and/or to detect voices present in different audio streams.

  • Publication number: 20190310599
Abstract: A control system having packaged sets of control logic, referred to as templates. A template may be deployed in a system many times to solve a system's needs. Upon deployment, the user may need to perform many binding operations. The present system and approach may greatly reduce the labor involved in deploying control templates and in templates configuring a system of devices. Semantic tagging may be used. When designing a template, binding hints may be provided for each entity in the template that requires binding upon deployment. The binding hints may be used as a search predicate. When a template is deployed into a control space, a search query with binding hints for each bindable entity defined, may automatically be executed against the control space. If there is a single result for a bindable entity, then it may be automatically bound. If there are multiple results, a user may be prompted to choose from a results list.
