  • Publication number: 20060013146
Abstract: A distributed test architecture of transmitting boundary scan Test Access Port (TAP_signals over a serial channel is disclosed. The architecture facilitates the system testing and remote field update of distributed base stations in a wireless network. The distributed test architecture enables system testing as if the distributed units are on a backplane within the same chassis by creating a plurality of logical connections between the distributed unit and the test bus using a single bit fiber line and a five bit TAP test bus.

  • Publication number: 20050282084
Abstract: Imaging compositions and methods of using the compositions are disclosed. The imaging compositions include two discrete components. One component includes opacifying compounds and the second component includes sensitizing dyes. The second component is sensitive to low levels of energy. Application of the low levels of energy induces a color or shade change in the second component. The imaging compositions may be applied to a work piece to mark it such that it may be modified based on the marks.

  • Publication number: 20050165152
Abstract: A repelling barrier composition is selectively applied to a substrate followed by applying a radiant energy sensitive material to spaces or channels formed by the barrier composition. The repellent barrier composition repels the radiant energy sensitive material such that it is directed into the spaces or channels formed by the barrier composition. The repellent barrier composition is removed to form a pattern on the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20050164121
Abstract: A mask is described for forming an image on a substrate. The mask may be selectively applied to a radiant energy sensitive material on the substrate. Actinic radiation applied to the composite chemically changes portions of the radiant energy sensitive material not covered by the mask. The mask and portions of the radiant energy sensitive material are removed using a suitable aqueous base developer. The mask is composed of aqueous base soluble or dispersible polymers and light-blocking agents.

  • Publication number: 20050021275
Abstract: Electronic devices, such as memory devices are tested by applying test data, such as vectors of memory data having data field, control and address information, with a tester to detect error responses. Applied test data is captured, compressed and stored for subsequent analysis to isolate the test data associated with the error response. The saved compressed test data is de-compressed to replay the test data for a logic analyzer so that adequate history of the test data exists to determine the test cycles that included the stimulus associated with the error response. Identification of the test cycles that include the stimulus associated with the error response allows creation of test programs that run in reduced time by avoiding empty test cycles not associated with the error response.

  • Patent number: 6454454
Abstract: An extruder screw mechanism has a barrel that is heated by heating coils, an internal screw, and a cylindrical melt sleeve having a plurality of circumferentially spaced, axially extending, radial slots there through located between the external barrel and the internal screw. Another embodiment of the extruder has a barrel and an internal screw, with the internal screw having either a single central axial bore or a plurality of internal axial bores. The internal screw is provided with a plurality of external threads, with the threads each having a curved starting portion with a helix angle that has a finite value and gradually increases along an initial portion of the screw until the threads are substantially linear and parallel to the axis of the screw along the melting portion of the screw; a related embodiment has threadless portion separating the linear threads from the curved upstream threads.

  • Patent number: 6319653
Abstract: A negative-acting photoimageable composition useful as a primary imaging resist in the manufacture of printed circuit boards comprises an acid-functional binder polymer, a photopolymerizable component, and a photoinitiator chemical system, in which all or a portion of the photopolymerizable component comprises a (meth)acrylate functional urethane oligomer, wherein the (meth)acrylate functionality is separated from the urethane linkage by at least two alkylene oxide groups and at least one ring-opened lactone group for improved flexibility, tenting strength, fine line adhesion, developer scumming, coupled with unexpectedly improved resistance to processing chemicals, such as alkaline developing solutions, acid etching solutions, and acid plating baths, and stripping ability in strong alkaline aqueous stripping solutions. The acid-functional binder polymer has a low molecular weight and does not contain styrene, contributing to stripping ability and improved resolution.

  • Patent number: 6254266
Abstract: An extruder-mixer has a plurality of rotor rings provided on the downstream end of a motor driven extruder shaft mounted for rotation in a conventional heated barrel or stator. The rings comprise a plurality of spaced driven rotor rings spaced apart from each other and a plurality of non-driven but rotatable floating rings interleaved between each pair of driven rotor rings. Both rings have parallel upstream and downstream faces between which polymer flow passageways extend so that the polymer melt moves downstream first through one type of ring followed by movement through the other type of ring and the viscosity of the melt causes the rotatable floating rings to be rotated by the driven rings at a slower speed than the driven rings so that shearing force on the melt effects mixing of the melt.

  • Patent number: 6173795
Abstract: A multi-cycle circulating sub apparatus having a control member for controlling the movement of a sleeve between a first or closed position and a second or open position. The control member is slidably mounted in a body and is moveable by fluid pressure in the body in a first axial direction relative to the body. The control member also has a spring biasing the control member in an opposite axial direction of the body. A pin is secured to either the body or the control member. A central groove, in which a portion of the pin is received, is formed in the other of the body or control member. The central groove is shaped to limit axial displacement of the control member in response to pressure variations in the body such that only after a predetermined number of movements of the control member to a first limit position is the control member able to move to a second limit position to displace the sleeve into the second position. The apparatus may also be reset many times while remaining in a downhole position.
