  • Publication number: 20260198930
Abstract: This invention is an intrasaccular aneurysm occlusion device with an expandable mesh which is inserted and expanded within an aneurysm sac. The expandable mesh can be steered in a selected direction and/or expanded in a radially-asymmetric manner by moving a joint, sliding catheter sections, pulling or pushing wires, detaching constraints, or filling chambers in the mesh with embolic material. There can be a plurality of non-central openings with remotely-controllable valves in the expandable mesh through which embolic material is inserted into the aneurysm sac.

  • Patent number: 12601923
Abstract: This invention is augmented reality eyewear with a first mode which provides a clear, bright, wide-angle environment-only view when needed and a second mode which displays an augmented reality view when needed. This eyewear can have a virtual-object-display component which pivots between being on an eyewear sidepiece (e.g. temple) and being in front of a person's eye. It also includes a light emitter, wherein the virtual-object-display component reflects and/or refracts light from the light emitter toward the person's eye when the virtual-object-display component is in its second configuration.

  • Patent number: 12527521
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an article of smart clothing which automatically recognizes body configuration and motion. This smart clothing includes inertial motion units which are distal relative to selected joints and also sets of strain sensors which span those joints. The type of energy transmitted through a strain sensor can be electrical energy or light energy. Combined multivariate analysis of data from both inertial motion units and strain sensors provides more accurate recognition of body configuration and motion than data from either alone.

  • Patent number: 12436394
Abstract: This invention is an optical structure with a plurality of movable reflective elements. These reflective elements have first configurations which allow transmission of environmental light. These reflective elements have second configurations which block (or reduce) transmission of environmental light and which reflect light from a virtual-object display toward a person's eye. This enables display of a relatively-opaque virtual object in an area of a person's field of view, while providing the person with a relatively-clear view of their environment in the rest of their field of view.

  • Publication number: 20250291382
Abstract: Disclosed herein are smart finger rings with light emitters and light receivers which collect biometric information concerning a person's health. Light from light emitters is received by light receivers after the light has been reflected by and/or transmitted through the person's finger. Several designs disclosed herein address the problem of size variation via innovative compressible, expandable, and/or adjustable-size components. Several designs disclosed herein address the problem of unintentional ring rotation via innovative movable components which change the circumferential locations and/or angles at which light beams from light emitters exit the ring toward a person's finger.

  • Patent number: 12405211
Abstract: This invention is a smart ring with spectroscopic sensors. Changes in the spectrum of light which are caused by interaction with (e.g. reflection by or transmission through) matter are analyzed to get information about the composition of that matter. In an example, light emitters can direct light outward toward an environmental object to get information concerning the molecular composition of the object. In an example, light emitters can direct light inward toward the surface of a person's finger to measure one or more biometric parameters.
