  • Patent number: 11380043
Abstract: In an example, a method can include segmented image volume data for at least one anatomic structure, wherein the segmented image volume data includes a 3-D image volume that includes the at least one anatomic structure. The method can include searching outward from a computed centerline for the at least one anatomic structure to detect a surface of one or more regions of interest of the at least one anatomic structure by evaluating values associated with voxels representing the 3-D image volume that includes the at least one anatomic structure relative to a threshold. The method can further include isolating the one or more regions of interest of the at least one anatomic structure in response to the searching and generating a region of interest model based on the one or more isolated regions of interest.

  • Publication number: 20220164590
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure disclose methods and systems for cataloguing provenances of watches and for authenticating watches based on the catalogue. In some embodiments, an image of a face of a watch and a video of a hand of the watch moving across the face of the watch may be obtained. Further, a set of scale-invariant features of the face may be extracted using a feature transformation algorithm. Further, a motion curve tracing the hand of the watch moving across the face of the watch may be extracted using a visual motion tracker. In addition, the physical attributes of the watch may also be obtained. In some embodiments, the feature transformation features, the motion curve and the physical attributes may be stored in a database configured to catalogue the provenance of watches, which can also be used to authenticate watches.

  • Publication number: 20220138356
Abstract: In an example, an apparatus for access regulation of peripheral devices may include a processor and a communication interface to communicate to a peripheral device and to the processor. The processor may identify a pattern associated with receiving input data from a first peripheral device, wherein the pattern includes a keystroke rate, a delay in a keystroke pattern, a keystroke pressure, or a combination thereof. Similarly, the processor may, in response to detecting enumeration of a second peripheral device coupled to the apparatus, compare particular input data received from the second peripheral device with the pattern, and regulate access of the second peripheral device to the apparatus, based on the comparison.

Abstract: The present invention relates to spiral wind turbines and an energy-harnessing system. The system features a plurality of spiral wind turbines adapted to collect drag energy of moving vehicles and for converting the collected energy into electricity. The spiral wind turbines can also be installed for collecting air flow energy from heating vents on rooftops, smokestacks or similar structures. The system uses wind energy along with captured moving air or heated air energy for producing electric power using electric generators and storing same using storage batteries. The turbines are vertically rotating, and the method of attachment/installation will depend on the type of turbine and the location. • Publication number: 20220064235
Abstract: Early detection of tumors is a major determinant of survival of patients suffering from tumors, suffering from these cancers, including bladder tumors. Genetic markers can be highly and consistently accumulated in bladder tumor tissue, other tumor tissue, and/or in urine of patients having bladder cancer. Detection of these markers can be an effective diagnostic tool to guide therapy. Detection and quantification of a plurality of bladder tumor markers using polymerase chain reaction methods can increase the sensitivity and specificity of detection of bladder cancer, provide methods for determining the stage and type of bladder cancer, and provide specific methods for treatment.

  • Patent number: 11223721
Abstract: Methods and systems described in this disclosure allow customers to personalize their phone experience when calling into an organization. In some embodiments, customers who may benefit from this service are identified based on the content of the customer's previous or current phone calls to the organization. The identified customers may be invited to enroll and to provide preferences for a customized Interactive Voice Response experience. In some embodiments, the customer can elect to hear the balances of one or more of his accounts without going through a phone menu or asking a representative to look up the relevant amounts. Once enrolled, when the customer dials into the organization and upon successful authentication, the organization proactively states the customer's account balances with no further customer request.
