  • Publication number: 20190236493
Abstract: A trained model may be deployed to an Internet-of-Things (IOT) operational environment in order to ingest features and detect events extracted from network traffic. The model may be received and converted into a meta-language representation which is interpretable by a data plane engine. The converted model can then be deployed to the data plane and may extract features from network communications over the data plane. The extracted features may be fed to the deployed model in order to generate event classifications or device state classifications.

  • Publication number: 20190231979
Abstract: A drug delivery device comprising a housing body; a piston rod configured to rotate in a first direction during dose dispensing under a driving force; and a threaded insert, wherein the piston rod is in threaded engagement with the threaded insert such that during dose dispensing, the piston rod displaces axially in a distal direction relative to the threaded insert for displacement of a cartridge bung. The threaded insert is movable relative to a stop provided in the housing body and a resilient means is provided to bias the threaded insert against the stop so that rotation of the piston rod causes the threaded insert to move away from the stop in response to reaction forces acting on the piston rod (in a proximal direction when the reaction forces exceed the biasing force of the resilient means.

  • Publication number: 20190230777
Abstract: Techniques are described for providing a smart-mesh socket. The smart-mesh socket may be sized and shaped to be engaged with a conventional electrical socket of one or more types (e.g., a USB receptacle providing DC electrical power) to provide power to one or more circuits housed within the smart-mesh socket. These circuits may include, for example, a main circuit that includes at least a dual processor for controlling the operation and communications of at least two communication circuits. The dual processors may execute instructions for an operating system, thus allowing the smart-mesh socket to provide enhanced capabilities for networked devices. One or more first communication circuits may each include one or more transceivers that allow the first communication circuit to send and receive communications with other devices over wireless network(s) using one or multiple wireless communication protocols.

  • Patent number: 10291715
Abstract: Techniques are described for facilitating interactions between computing systems, such as in accordance with usage models that are configured for available services by the providers of the services. In some situations, the services are Web services, and an electronic Web service (“WS”) marketplace is provided via which third-party WS providers make their WSes available to third-party WS consumers who purchase access to those WSes via the electronic marketplace based on configured usage models selected by the consumers. Some or all of the one or more usage models configured for an available WS may each have associated use prices and/or non-price use conditions, and if so access to those WSes using those usage models may be provided only if a consumer requesting access provides appropriate payment and otherwise satisfies the specified use conditions for a selected usage model.

  • Patent number: 10195353
Abstract: A pen-type injector is improved so that a user may select a delivery dose of a medicinal product from a multidose cartridge. The injector includes a housing, a cartridge containing the medicinal product retained within the housing, a piston rod, a dose selecting member to select the dose of medicinal product to be expelled, and a drive member to expel the selected dose of the medicinal product. The housing is formed unitary so that the dose selecting member and the drive member are moveably retained within the housing. The injector may include a ratchet associated with an insert to ensure the piston rod only rotates in a single direction through the insert, a button located on the drive member, and a clutch which upon depression of the button prevents rotation between the dose selecting member and the drive member.
