  • Publication number: 20050148568
Abstract: Pharmaceutical formulation, its method of preparation, and its use. The pharmaceutical formulation contains peroxidic species or reaction products resulting from oxidation of an alkene, such as geraniol, by an oxygen-containing oxidizing agent, such as ozone; a penetrating solvent, such as dimethyl sulfoxide; a dye containing a chelated metal, such as hematoporphyrin; and an aromatic redox compound, such as benzoquinone. The pharmaceutical formulation is used to treat horses infected with Sarcocystis protozoal infections.

  • Patent number: 6554600
Abstract: An apparatus for producing a three-dimensional part by successive layer-by-layer solidification of a solidifiable material, which is solidified at locations corresponding to the cross section of the part is described. The apparatus has a machine housing and a building space provided in the machine housing. An interchangeable container forms a delimiting frame for the material within the building space. The container has a work piece platform. The work piece platform is supported on a supporting device during operation of the apparatus. Preferably, the interchangeable container has a rear side wall with a recess extending vertically, and the supporting device engages the work piece platform through the recess.

  • Publication number: 20020003875
Abstract: The present invention features a modular assembly for a handset, including a handset housing having a cord reel receptacle. A modular cord reel has a reel housing and a retractable cord adapted for connection to the handset. The cord reel is installed in and removable from the receptacle in the handset housing. At least one fastener removably secures the cord reel to the receptacle. Preferably the fastener is captively held in the cord reel housing to minimize dropping and loss of the fasteners.

  • Patent number: 6129609
Abstract: Material removing machining is for wafer shaped workpieces, in particular semiconductor wafers. There is a method for achieving a wear performance which is as linear as possible for a tool which has an essentially planar working surface for the material removing machining of wafer shaped workpieces. The tool has a wear performance which is as linear as possible. There are also a method and a device for measuring a wear profile on an essentially planar working surface for the material removing machining of wafer shaped workpieces. There is also a carrier which is used for the two-sided material removing machining of wafer shaped workpieces.

  • Patent number: 5175398
Abstract: A cable device for connecting electrical apparatuses with a power source or housing parts of electrical apparatuses with one another has a foldable electrical cable which has a plurality of folds with folding regions therebetween, and fixing elements which fix bending points in the folding regions against turning movements.

  • Patent number: 4216984
Abstract: A latching apparatus for cowls on outboard motors which catches and locks automatically, but can be released by simply pushing with one hand. Two sawtoothed semi-rigid mating parts are oriented with leading edges and mating teeth facing in a manner so that they interfere slightly when mated. As the parts approach each other, opposing teeth ride on each other and slip past one after another until all teeth interlock. Release is accomplished by a slight force transverse to the latching motion, thus disengaging the teeth and allowing withdrawal.
