    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a self-molding composite system for insulation and covering operations. The self-molding composite system may be cured to form any desired shaped for insulation and covering operations. The composite system comprises one or more layers that may create a rigid layered composite when cured. The one or more layers of the composite system may include at least one structural reinforcement layer that is a braided, knit, or non-woven fiber based substrate, an interstitial matrix layer, and customizable top coat. The customizable top coat may be a solvent based polymer solution that includes various additives that may include color pigments, additives for additional abrasion protection, additives for thermal protection, and/or additives for creating various textures or visible appearances to the composite system.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a corrugated band clamp configured to effectively secure a sleeve around a pipe. The corrugated band clamp comprises an elongate member having a first lateral side and an opposing second lateral side. Typically, at least a portion of the length of the elongate member comprises a corrugated portion and at least a portion of the length of the elongate member comprises a non-corrugated portion. The corrugated portion of the elongate member enables the corrugated band clamp to effectively secure sleeves on pipes with non-parallel surfaces. In addition, embodiments of the invention provide applications of the corrugated band clamp system, methods of manufacture and methods of use.

Additional braided layers of material may be included, as well. An outside cover of material is preferably a circular knitted fabric that contains glass fibers and resin-based fibers. The knitted fabric forms a tube on the outside of the insulating layers, and may be formed from a core spun yarn, which includes a glass filament core and a high-melt fiber on the wrap. Optionally, the system may also include a perforated or unperforated metal foil layer and/or a tape wrap, and the various components may be configured as desired.

Including radiation dose contributions due to scattering from other locations within the body take into account density discontinuities in the body.

    Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of a method to control energy dose output from a laser-produced plasma extreme ultraviolet light system by adjusting timing of fired laser beam pulses. During stroboscopic firing, pulses are timed to lase droplets until a dose target of EUV has been achieved. Once accumulated EUV reaches the dose target, pulses are timed so as to not lase droplets during the remainder of the packet, and thereby prevent additional EUV light generation during those portions of the packet. In a continuous burst mode, pulses are timed to irradiate droplets until accumulated burst error meets or exceeds a threshold burst error. If accumulated burst error meets or exceeds the threshold burst error, a next pulse is timed to not irradiate a next droplet. Thus, the embodiments described herein manipulate pulse timing to obtain a constant desired dose target that can more precisely match downstream dosing requirements.
