    Abstract: An object tracking system that includes a sensor that is configured to capture frames of at least a portion of a global plane for a space. The system further includes a position sensor that is configured to output (x,y) coordinates corresponding with the physical location of the sensor within the space. The system is configured to receive an (x,y) coordinate within the space for the sensor from the position sensor. The (x,y) coordinate corresponds with a new physical location of the sensor within the space. The system is further configured to determine translation coefficients for the sensor based on a difference between the (x,y) coordinate and a previous (x,y) coordinate for the sensor. The system is further configured to update a homography associated with the sensor by applying the translation coefficients to the homography and to store the updated homography.

    Abstract: A method of electricity production using water thermal energy includes compressing an enclosed working fluid at a first vertical position relative to a surface of a body of water to cause the fluid to move to a second vertical position relative to the surface and subsequently move to the first position in a closed loop, an external environment at the second position having a greater temperature than an external environment at the first position such that the fluid transitions between a liquid phase at the first position and a vapor phase at the second position, the compressing using power from a battery, and expanding the fluid at the second position to generate electricity to charge the battery. The first and second positions may be two depths of the body of water or a height of an atmosphere above the body of water and a depth of the body of water.

    Abstract: A power amplifier apparatus supporting reverse intermodulation product (rIMD) cancellation is provided. The power amplifier apparatus includes an amplifier circuit configured to amplify and output a radio frequency (RF) signal for transmission via an antenna port. The antenna port may receive a reverse interference signal, which may interfere with the RF signal to create a rIMD(s) that can fall within an RF receive band(s). A reverse coupling circuit is provided in the power amplifier apparatus to generate an interference cancellation signal based on the reverse interference signal. The amplifier circuit is configured to amplify the interference cancellation signal and the RF signal to create an intermodulation product(s) to suppress the rIMD(s) to a determined threshold. By suppressing the rIMD(s) in the power amplifier apparatus, it is possible to support concurrent transmissions and receptions in a number of RF spectrums while in compliance with stringent regulatory spurious emissions (SEM) requirements.

    Abstract: This invention generally provides two tactile stimulation modules, or “tappers”. One tapper is held by a person in each of his hands. Alternatively, a tapper is secured to each wrist or to other parts of the body on opposite sides. Each tapper is powered by a rechargeable battery, and contains both a tactile stimulation transducer, such as an electric motor having either a balanced or unbalanced mass on its output shaft, and a transceiver that communicates with a host or master. Each tapper includes at least one control button and a status indicator. Each tapper contains a micro-controller that performs tasks such as communication, motor activation, user monitoring and control, battery monitoring, low-power sleep, and algorithm execution. At least one tapper can contain at least one optional sensor, which measures a physiological function. Measurements can be used to modify performance of the tactile stimulation transducers.
