  • Patent number: 8806032
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to migrate border gateway protocol sessions between routers are disclosed. An example method to migrate a border gateway protocol session from a first router to a second router disclosed herein comprises exporting a connection state to migrate a transport control protocol connection supporting the border gateway protocol session with a session endpoint from the first router to the second router, and after the transport control protocol connection has been migrated to the second router, announcing, from the first router to the second router, routes contained in an exported routing information base associated with the session endpoint, the second router to process the routes to migrate handling of the border gateway protocol session with the session endpoint to the second router.

  • Publication number: 20140109198
Abstract: A user's set top box (STB), or other client, executes a shell and has an application program interface (API) by which certain features of the client can be controlled. The client is in communication with a walled garden proxy server (WGPS). The client sends a request to the WGPS to access a service provided by a site in the garden. The site sends the client a message containing code calling a function in the API. The WGPS traps the message from the site and looks up the site in a table to determine the access control list (ACL) for the site. The WGPS includes the ACL in the header of the hypertext transport protocol (HTTP) message to the client. The shell receives the message and extracts the ACL. If the code lacks permission, the shell stops execution.

  • Patent number: 8642925
Abstract: A heating device for testing integrated components is disclosed. In one embodiment, an inner casing is arranged in the heating device surrounding a holding chamber. The inner casing contains at least one recess in which an electrically conductive contact device is moveably arranged. This permits contact to be reliably made with a circuit to be tested. If the inner casing is of compact design, there is a very homogeneous temperature distribution in the heating device.

  • Patent number: 7786619
Abstract: A barrier movement operator with a backup source of DC power is disclosed. The power supply of the barrier movement operator sends current limited DC to the backup which uses the DC to charge a battery. The battery is in circuit at all times with the barrier movement operator power supply by means of a power diode and, when an AC mains power failure occurs, DC power is sent from the battery to power the barrier movement operator.
