  • Publication number: 20220300867
Abstract: A system and method are provided for generating and transmitting push notifications in connection with a transport service. Push notification triggers can be configured by a user via an application-based user interface corresponding to an application specific to the transport service. A user profile associated with the user can be accessed to detect one or more preconfigured push notification triggers, and thereafter transport service activity can be dynamically monitored for trigger events. Such trigger events can cause the system to generate and transmit push notifications to the user's mobile device.

  • Patent number: 11436899
Abstract: Described herein are methods and systems for visualization of a carbon footprint for one or more real-world objects or events. A server computing device identifies a carbon footprint value for at least one real-world object or event. The server computing device determines an amount of greenhouse gas that corresponds to the carbon footprint value. The server computing device generates instructions for operation of a gas visualization device coupled to the server computing device based upon the amount of greenhouse gas. The server computing device transmits the instructions to the gas visualization device. The gas visualization device executes the instructions to produce an amount of gas (i.e., fog or vapor) based upon the received instructions.

  • Patent number: 11384500
Abstract: An oil spill clean-up and recovery system for marine vessels, which includes a pivoting and height adjustable boom extending from the vessels, which has upper and lower frameworks that are generally parallel. This includes an oil containment panel which is vertically oriented, movable, and generally laterally secured between the frameworks. A plurality of floats are secured to the oil containment panel and maintain it about the surface of a body of water for containing oil or other undesirable liquids or debris. A plurality of floating oil evacuation tubes are height adjustable and attached to separate floats, each tube having an inlet for receiving oil around the water line. The floating oil evacuation tubes are laterally positioned in proximity of one-another, and in front of the oil containment panel. The oil containment panel collects, contains, and deflects oil to the floating evacuation tubes, which then receive and delivery oil to the tanker.

  • Patent number: 11362604
Abstract: An electric field mill (EFM) incorporates a novel rotor and shaft grounding mechanism providing a low-impedance path to ground via a bearing packed with electrically conductive grease. A removable bearing washer allows for servicing. The EFM includes a data processing scheme built around a peak detection algorithm and moving much of the signal processing to digital processing. A GPS disciplined sampling clock and cellular connectivity allow for use and maintenance of arrays of widely scattered EFMs.

  • Publication number: 20220003521
Abstract: A firearm accessory is rotatable on two axes through the use of a sleeve mounted on a bearing comprising of a first part and a second part the second part being rotatable and coupled to the first part facilitating a central opening and a first rotational motion and protrusions with at least one hinge from the sleeve attaching to a mirror device acting as a second rotational motion. An alternative teaches digital control of a swinging mirror assembly having spring acting ball actuators providing the digital action between the actuators and a surface. In another alternative, two armatures also are taught that connect a reflective device to a bearing mounted sleeve in front of or behind a target viewing device. Any of these may be directly rail mounted with appropriate attachment devices or directly connected to or manufactured as an integral part of a reflex sight, night vision, scope or similar viewing system of a firearm.

  • Publication number: 20210381805
Abstract: A sighting system for a firearm, configured for securing, about a firearm, the sighting system housed in a housing, with a smart phone or smart device mounting platform rotatably coupled thereon, with an additional rear viewing camera, integral or attachable to an armature. This said armature, additionally passes through an open portion of a clamping device, that is attachable to a threaded base portion, of the back side of said smart device mounting platform, and is both height and angularly adjustable. This said sighting device, provides the target image that is either received from other target viewing devices mounted on the firearm, or provides its own target image, to the smart device, where this said target image is viewable by the user, from any position that the user could position himself in relation to the firearm, by means of the said rotatable smartphone or smart device mounting platform.

  • Patent number: 11132641
Abstract: A radio frequency identification (RFID) inventory system/method allowing identification and categorization of radio frequency identification tags (RFIT) is disclosed. The system/method locates a master RFIT (RFIM) within a selected RFID area/cell (RFAC) using a RFID scanner (RFSC) and uses this RFIM to determine a RFIT candidate list (RFCL) that should be located within the RFAC. This RFCL is then compared against scanned RFIT (RFIS) within the RFAC and the RFIS are then categorized as READ, MISSING, WRONG, DIRTY, READ DURATION EXPIRED, or TARGETED PROXIMITY SEARCH. Once RFIS scanning is complete within the selected RFAC, a list of READ, MISSING, WRONG, and DIRTY RFIT are transmitted to an inventory compute server (ICS) to generate an inventory status report (ISR) detailing the RFIT inventory status of the selected RFAC.

  • Publication number: 20210232756
Abstract: A document is represented as a node tree in a document processing system. Edits to a node are represented in a change record that has a one-way link to the node. A text mark has a one-way link to the change record. It deletes that link when the changes represented by the change record are reflected in the text mark. A memory management system releases the memory allocated to the change record when no other object links to it.
