  • Publication number: 20180347065
Abstract: Disclosed are cup assemblies for holding, sealing, and providing electrical power to a semiconductor substrate during electroplating which may include a cup bottom element having a main body portion and a moment arm, an elastomeric sealing element disposed on the moment arm, and an electrical contact element disposed on the elastomeric sealing element. The main body portion may be such that it does not substantially flex when a substrate is pressed against the moment arm, and it may be rigidly affixed to another feature of the cup structure. The ratio of the average vertical thickness of the main body portion to that of the moment arm may be greater than about 5. The electrical contact element may have a substantially flat but flexible contact portion disposed upon a substantially horizontal portion of the sealing element. The elastomeric sealing element may be integrated with the cup bottom element during manufacturing.

  • Publication number: 20180245880
Abstract: A camera sighting device, configured for securing about a firearm, the sighting device housed in a housing, with a smart phone or smart device mounting platform rotatably coupled thereon, with an additional rear viewing camera, integral or attachable to an armature. This said armature, additionally passes through an open portion of a clamping device, that is attachable to a threaded base portion, of the back side of said smart device mounting platform, and is both height and angularly adjustable. This said sighting device, provides the target image that is either received from other target viewing devices mounted on the firearm, or provides its own target image, to the smart device, where this said target image is viewable by the user, from any position that the user could position himself in relation to the firearm, by means of the said rotatable smartphone or smart device mounting platform.

  • Patent number: 10006742
Abstract: Sight adjustable and rotating smart phone mounts for firearms which mount the smart phone and lens on the rail of the firearm behind the sights. The phone mounts rotate, and are vertically and laterally adjustable, and include mirror assemblies. The smart phone and mirror assemblies are secured in precise positions to be in alignment with one another, and the mirror assemblies remain in axial viewing alignment with the firearm sights, and reflect the view to the smart phone camera lens, as the mount is rotated through 180° from side-to-side of the firearm. A shooter views an enlarged target area on the smart phone screen, and most importantly, can view and record the target area from the either side of the firearm standing perpendicular to the firearm rail and barrel. In such position, the shooters can fire around obstacles and building without becoming a target themselves and out of harms way.

  • Publication number: 20180030611
Abstract: Apparatus and methods for electroplating metal onto substrates are disclosed. The electroplating apparatus comprise an electroplating cell and at least one oxidization device. The electroplating cell comprises a cathode chamber and an anode chamber separated by a porous barrier that allows metal cations to pass through but prevents organic particles from crossing. The oxidation device (ODD) is configured to oxidize cations of the metal to be electroplated onto the substrate, which cations are present in the anolyte during electroplating. In some embodiments, the ODD is implemented as a carbon anode that removes Cu(I) from the anolyte electrochemically. In other embodiments, the ODD is implemented as an oxygenation device (OGD) or an impressed current cathodic protection anode (ICCP anode), both of which increase oxygen concentration in anolyte solutions. Methods for efficient electroplating are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20170299329
Abstract: A headwear associated firearm accessory has a mirror integral with a mirror support mounted on a rotatable platform having an attachment device attaching the mirror support to the rotatable platform. One option has a rail mount moveably attached to the rotatable platform. Also, a knob is attached to the rotatable platform opposite an attachment point of the mirror support. There is a digital engagement device in the mirror support or in the rotatable platform. This digital engagement device is typically a spring activated ball assembly mounted within a cavity in the rotatable platform. Finally, one embodiment has an arm moveably attached to the rotatable platform also having a grip attached to the arm. A foldable firearm accessory has a rotation base integrally associated with a mirror and further attached to a rotational mount associated with a folding actuator. Spring activated balls provide rotational selection for various positions.

  • Publication number: 20170276456
Abstract: A firearm accessory is rotatable on two axes through the use of a sleeve mounted on a bearing comprising of a first part and a second part the second part being rotatable and coupled to the first part facilitating a central opening and a first rotational motion and protrusions with at least one hinge from the sleeve attaching to a mirror device acting as a second rotational motion. An alternative teaches digital control of a swinging mirror assembly having spring acting ball actuators providing the digital action between the actuators and a surface. In another alternative, two armatures also are taught that connect a reflective device to a bearing mounted sleeve in front of or behind a target viewing device. Any of these may be directly rail mounted with appropriate attachment devices or directly connected to or manufactured as an integral part of a reflex sight, night vision, scope or similar viewing system of a firearm.

  • Publication number: 20170241741
Abstract: A firearm accessory has a foldable mirror housing that is attached through a hinge with a rotatable mirror platform. This rotatable mirror platform sits atop a bearing platform that in turn is integral with a rail mount. The rotatable mirror platform has a locking device that engages the fascia of the bearing platform popping mirror into positions or angles of most common use. A knob has a housing therefore having an associated friction disk and axle. A locking device on the mirror housing engages the exterior surface of the back of the knob housing for positions of most common vertical angles of use. Finally, a spring actuated sliding mirror is an optional feature as it is mounted on a mounting plate therefore allowing for height adjustment of mirror as well as the interchanging of mirror types.

  • Patent number: 9567838
Abstract: A lift and method for reciprocating a downhole pump includes an linear actuator, such as a piston-cylinder arrangement, located coaxially above the stuffing box of a well. The linear actuator includes a connecting rod that passes through and seals against the stuffing box, thereby taking the place of the traditional polished rod and allowing the linear actuator to be positioned lower and closer to the well. The connecting rod may be connected to the traditional polished rod below the stuffing box. A stopper may be selectively removed to allow the connecting rod to be pulled clear of the stuffing box while using the polished rod to seal the well, thereby allowing the linear actuator to be removed for maintenance.

  • Publication number: 20170030679
Abstract: A device for use with a target viewing device comprising a collet comprising having a central opening defined by a first part and a second part. The second part is rotatably coupled to the first part such that the second part rotates relative to the first part. An attaching member fixedly couples the first part proximate to the target viewing device such that the central opening does not obstruct an image provided to and from the target viewing device. A mirror is pivotally coupled to a planar body so that the mirror may pivot about a hinge to position the mirror relative to the target viewing device to provide a reflection of an image provided by the target viewing device to the user when the device is positioned behind the target viewing device, and to provide a reflection of an image to the target viewing device when the device is positioned in front of the target viewing device.

  • Patent number: 9512870
Abstract: A method for installing a seal cap. The seal cap may be adhered to a fastener element using a material. A portion of the material may be squeezed out as excess material in response to adhering the seal cap to the fastener element. A number of projections associated with the seal cap may be moved along an interface formed between the seal cap and an object in which the fastener element has been installed. The excess material may be faired using the number of projections as the number of projections is moved along the interface between the seal cap and the object.
