Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method for converting alternating current voltage signals to Ethernet in-line power includes converting an alternating current voltage signal to an approximate direct current voltage signal, adding at least one odd harmonic of the approximate direct current voltage signal to produce a compensated direct current voltage signal, and conditioning the compensated direct current voltage signal to produce an Ethernet in-line power signal.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for treating humans suffering from, or preventing a human from suffering, a physiological or psychiatric disease, disorder, or a condition where inhibiting reuptake of norepinephrine is a benefit are disclosed. The compositions comprise a compound having a pharmacological selectivity of serotonin (Ki)/norepinephrine (Ki) of at least about 5000. Examples of such compounds include reboxetine, and more preferably optically pure (S,S) enantiomer of reboxetine. The methods generally include administration of a therapeutic amount of such compositions. Also disclosed are preparations of a medicament from the composition, and uses of the composition in a manufacture of the medicament to treat a human suffering from, or preventing a human from suffering, a physiological or psychiatric disease, disorder, or condition.

The program management system receives contact information and a search criteria for a locate request. The program management system transmits the search criteria to the spatial management system. The spatial management system geocodes the search criteria and retrieves map data from the data management system corresponding to the search criteria geocode. The spatial management system transmits the map data to the program management system. The program management system transmits the map data to the user system and, in return, receives an indication of a site location where the operation is to be performed. The program management system transmits the site location indication to the spatial management system. The spatial management system geocodes the site location indication and transmits the site location geocode to the program management system.

Abstract: A method, system and program product for streaming of dynamic information content over an interactive media such as the Internet. The dynamic content, such as dynamic weather data, is collected from a plurality of collection sources such as geographically distributed local weather reporting stations. The data information can be relatively static or dynamic, constantly changing data. The dynamic content is stored in databases maintained on a direct access storage device at the dynamic content server. The selection of dynamic content to be transmitted to the end user client is based on a demographic profile that is completed at the time of end user client registration and which precedes delivery of any selected content in response to end user client requests. An application resident on the dynamic content server streams selected content simultaneously to a plurality of end user client devices for each end user client request.

Abstract: This invention describes a method of reducing the effect of interfering compounds in a bodily fluid when measuring an analyte using an electrochemical sensor (62). In particular, the present method is applicable to electrochemical sensors where (62) the sensor includes a substrate (50), first and second working electrodes (10, 12), and a reference electrode (14) and either the first and second or only the second working electrode include regions which are bare of reagent (22). In this invention, an algorithm is described with mathematically corrects for the interference effect using the test strip embodiments of the present invention.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for the chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) of a surface of a work piece. Abstract: A method for controlling multiple voltages in a power supply includes providing a plurality of DC to DC power converters. Each power converter includes a pulse width modulator controller having a control pin. The method also includes when a voltage supply to the power controllers reads a particular level. After the particular level is met, the method includes providing a respective rising ramp control signal to each respective control pin of the pulse width modulator controller such that each respective power converter generates desired voltage level over time characteristics.

Abstract: An electrical connector receptacle housing is provided that includes protrusions in the housing's contact assembly receiving area. The location of each protrusion corresponds to a location of a well formed in a contact assembly between dual beams of ground contacts. When the contact block is received in the housing, each protrusion is received in a corresponding well. The protrusions may be sized to provide a snug fit as the contact block is received in the receptacle housing. The protrusions thus help minimize the movement of the contact block.
