Publication number: 20100288493Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a cable suspended pumping system. In one embodiment, a method of producing fluid from a reservoir includes deploying a pumping system into a wellbore to a location proximate the reservoir using a cable. The pump assembly includes a motor, an isolation device, a pump, and a power conversion module (PCM). The method further includes setting the isolation device, thereby rotationally fixing the pumping system to a tubular string disposed in the wellbore and isolating an inlet of the pump from an outlet of the pump; supplying a DC power signal from the surface to the PCM via the cable; and supplying a second power signal to the motor, thereby operating the pump and pumping reservoir fluid from the reservoir to the surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2009Publication date: November 18, 2010Inventors: Lance I. Patent number: 7717447Abstract: A propulsion apparatus (20) which can be mounted to a wheel (8) (or integrally formed therewith) of a vehicle, for example a wheelchair. The propulsion apparatus (20) has a first portion which can be statically attached to either a rim of the wheel (8) or structural member which is rigidly attached to the wheel (8) projects therefrom. The propulsion apparatus (20) also has a second portion (23), which is pivotal about the rotational axis of the wheel (8). Furthermore, the propulsion apparatus (20) comprises coupling means which are interposed between the first and second portions so that when the second portion (23) is rotated about the axis of the wheel (8) it causes the first portion, and therefore also the wheel (8), to rotate.Type: GrantFiled: September 9, 2004Date of Patent: May 18, 2010Assignee: Pure Global LimitedInventor: Robert Nicholas Charles Orford

Publication number: 20090288588Abstract: A seat mounting assembly is provided for attachment to a transverse bench-style seat of a fishing or Jon-type boat. The seat mounting assembly is quickly and easily attached to the bench-style seat such that the seat mounting assembly allows a seat attached thereto to, both, slide longitudinally to the transverse bench seat and be selectively locked into place, such that the seat cannot move relative to the transverse bench. The unique interface of the base and the rails of the seat mounting assembly helps ensure that the seat mounting assembly will not tip relative to the bench-style seat, while the low profile design of the seat mounting assembly helps keep that center of gravity of a boat to which the seat mounting assembly is installed substantially unchanged.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 20, 2008Publication date: November 26, 2009Inventors: Brian Robert Nicholas, Michael Todd Plockelman
