Abstract: One embodiment of the present is a method of implementing privacy control of location information. Such a method comprises defining a geographic zone for which pseudo-location information is to be reported as the current location of the user, wherein the pseudo-location information is not the current location of the user; receiving the current location of the user; determining that the current location is in the geographic zone; and reporting the pseudo-location information as the current location of the user when the current location is determined to be in the geographic zone. Other methods and systems are also provided.

Abstract: In a method of controlling the power state of a peripheral device, the peripheral is changed from a first power state to a second power state in response to communications across a network connected to the peripheral indicating that a user is proximately located to the peripheral. A user may be determined to be proximately located to the peripheral by monitoring communications across the network to detect traffic that is associated with a user logging onto a computer that can utilize the peripheral, by discovering a wireless terminal that is associated with a user and which is proximately located to the peripheral, by receiving information from a cellular communication network across the network that indicates that a user of the peripheral is proximately located to the peripheral, and/or in response to a time of day and/or day of week/month schedule.

Abstract: A method of advertising tailored based on usage patterns of a portable electronic device includes determining if a portable electronic device has entered an area associated with a local area network (LAN). A link is established between the portable electronic device and the LAN if it is determined that the portable electronic device has entered the area associated with the LAN. User services are established between the portable electronic device and a remote server using the established link based on a user profile associated with the portable electronic device. Devices associated with the remote server communicatively coupled to the LAN are controlled using the portable electronic device. Actions and/or behaviors of a user are tracked based on use of the portable electronic device. Advertisements are displayed and/or played on at least one of the controlled devices based on the tracked user actions and/or behaviors.

A recommended customer service center is selected from a plurality of customer service centers based upon at least one of the CPE information and the network status information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods of location-based status checking. Such a method comprises scheduling an event to occur at a scheduled time at a defined location; inviting an individual to attend the event; querying the individual as to whether the individual will attend the event; and tracking a physical location of the individual to determine whether the individual is on schedule to appear at the event by the scheduled time. Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for the management of an audio environment with multiple audio sources. According to various embodiments described herein, real-time audio from multiple sources is received. A speaker is identified for each of the audio sources. Upon detecting a change from a first audio source to a second audio source, an identification of the speaker associated with the second audio source is provided. According to various embodiments, a recording of the real-time audio may be made and descriptors inserted to identify each speaker as the audio source changes. Real-time feedback from the speakers regarding characteristics of the audio may be received and corresponding adjustments to the audio made.

The method further includes automatically determining cluster names for grouping the URLs based on the content information. Each cluster name has at least one URL associated therewith. The method further includes automatically generating a second table having the cluster names and URLs associated with the cluster names. The method further includes displaying the GUI having the user-selection controls associated with the cluster names on a display device, utilizing the second table.

The method includes supplying an embryo suspension mass culture having a plurality of first particles of a first size and a plurality of second particles of a second size different at least in part from the first size of the first particles. The method also includes suspending the embryo suspension mass culture in a fluid to create a mixture and forcing the mixture through a filter while maintaining the mixture in the fluid to separate the first particles from the second particles.

Abstract: Method and arrangement for providing a bicycle transport system that includes a rack assembly securing a bicycle, with both wheels still attached, in the bed of a pickup truck without requiring physical modification of the pickup truck bed. The transport system includes a rack frame having a securing assembly releasably securing the rack frame in the bed of a transporting pickup truck. The system also includes a bicycle restraining portion that is maintained in abutting engagement with a front tire of a bicycle being transported in the pickup truck bed. The securing assembly has an anchor member that in a secured configuration maintains the rack frame in abutment with the pickup truck bed so that the rack frame is substantially fixing relative to the truck bed. The bicycle restraining portion has a constrictable arm that presses upon the front tire of the bicycle in a transporting configuration.

Abstract: A method for electronic information transfer by a sender. The method includes composing an electronic message on a sender terminal. At least one announcement file is associated with an attribute of the electronic message, the announcement file configured for playing at a recipient terminal upon the recipient terminal receiving the electronic message. The electronic message and the association to the announcement file is sent over a network to a recipient at the recipient terminal. Embodiments include a computer program product for implementing the method.

Abstract: A method of obtaining a response to associated announcement files. The method includes associating a first announcement file including an attribute of a tangible item with an email and associating an interactive information file with the email. The email is sent with the associated announcement file and the associated interactive information file to the recipient to a recipient. The announcement file causes presentation of the attribute of the tangible item to the recipient upon receipt of the email by the recipient. The interactive information file causes presentation of the interactive information file to the recipient upon receipt of the email by the recipient.
