Abstract: Included are systems for communicating product information to a user. At least one embodiment of a system may include logic configured to receive a product identifier from a user device and logic configured to determine a product that corresponds to the received product identifier. In at least one embodiment, the system also includes logic configured to retrieve data related to the user, logic configured to utilize the product identifier to retrieve data related to the product, and logic configured to compare the data related to the user with the data related to the product.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a location proxy. The disclosed systems and methods include associating a user device with a confining area. Furthermore, the disclosed systems and methods include reporting the location of a proxy device corresponding to the confining area as the location of the user device. Moreover, the disclosed systems and methods include disassociating the user device from the confining area. Furthermore, the disclosed systems may determine if a first condition associated with a user device is present wherein the first condition comprises the user device being unable to determine a location of the user device or the user device being unable to communicate over a communication system associated with the user device. In addition, the disclosed systems may use a proxy device to determine the location of the user device, report the location of the user device, or to allow the user device to communicate.

Abstract: Account identifiers for accounts such as credit and debit accounts are customized by the account holder. The account identifiers may include both numerical and non-numerical characters. The account identifiers may include various combinations of letters and numbers and may include words or even phrases. The name of the account holder, the name of the bank associated with the account and associated card, words specifying the type of the account and card, arbitrary words chosen by the account holder, and others may be included in the account identifier. The account identifier is obtained during a transaction and is processed Such processing may include looking up the account identifier in a financial database that associates financial information of the account holder with the account identifier or by looking up the account identifier in a database that associates the account identifier to a standard numerical account number.

Abstract: An audio/video reproducing system is automatically electronically controlled in response to specific sensed sounds, specific sensed images and/or specific sensed patterns of nonvisible electromagnetic radiation that are identified electronically from a predefined set of specific sounds, a predefined set of specific images and/or a predefined set of electromagnetic radiation patterns. User preferences may be set to identify specific combinations of sensed patterns. The sensed patterns may be ambient sensed patterns and/or remote sensed patterns. Related systems, methods and computer program products are also described.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments relate to methods, systems, and computer program products for providing a scheduler for multiple parties. Methods include receiving information indicating requested attendees and a duration for a meeting from a requestor. A storage device containing available time slots and meeting preferences for the requested attendees is accessed. One or more meeting time slots are determined based on the duration, the available time slots and the meeting preferences. An overall match score for each of the meeting time slots is calculated using the meeting time slot and the meeting preferences as input. A list including the meeting time slots and the associated overall match scores is created. The list is transmitted to the requestor.

Abstract: Lens structures are disclosed. The lens structures include a first lens spaced apart from a second lens and a spacer disposed therebetween comprising an extruded adhesive. Goggles utilizing the lens structures are disclosed. Methods of forming lens structures and goggles are also disclosed. The methods of forming the lens structures include providing a first lens, selectively applying adhesive to a surface of the first lens, contacting the adhesive applied to the first lens with a second lens to form a lens structure, and at least partially curing the adhesive. Lens structures so formed may be attached to a goggle frame. Programmable machines for implementing such inventive methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for authenticating use of a mark. In one embodiment, a system for facilitation, authentication, and authorization of the use of a mark comprises a mark owner server that receives registration information from a reseller server via a network that requests to use a mark. The mark owner server determines whether the reseller server is authenticated to use the mark. If the reseller server is authenticated to use the mark, the mark owner server sends a key to the reseller server. The mark owner server receives the key from the reseller server to access the mark via the network and determines whether the reseller server is authorized to use the mark based on the key. If the reseller server is authorized to use the mark, the mark owner server sends a first mark via the network to be displayed.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are disclosed for providing a discount to a device. One method obtains a location of the device and obtains a demographic indicator associated with the device. The discount is retrieved from memory, and the discount is based on the location and on the demographic indicator. The discount increases as a distance from a reference location increases. The reference location may represent any location, such as a physical location of a merchant. As the distance between the device and the merchant's physical location increases, the merchant provides a greater discount to entice the customer to travel to the merchant.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products are disclosed for providing a discount to a wireless device. One method obtains a location of the wireless device and retrieves the discount from memory. The discount is based on the location, and the discount increases as a distance from a reference location increases. The reference location may represent any location, such as a physical location of a merchant. As the distance between the wireless device and the merchant's physical location increases, the merchant provides a greater discount to entice the wireless customer to travel to the merchant.

Abstract: A smoking material receptacle reduces or eliminates smoldering of discarded smoking materials and prevents smoke and odor from escaping from the receptacle. The smoking material is inserted in an angled chute near the top of the receptacle. The chute has an upper opening and a lower opening. In one embodiment, the lower opening of the chute lies substantially within a vertical plane. The arrangement of the chute within the receptacle substantially reduces or eliminates the escape of smoke and odor from the receptacle.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for setting up an appointment. Briefly described, in architecture, one embodiment of the system, among others, can be implemented as follows. The system includes first logic configured to receive a request for establishing an appointment and second logic configured to establish an appointment between a party who sent the request and a subject described in the request, wherein the appointment is established after the appointment is unilaterally approved by the party who sent the request. Other systems and methods are also provided.

Abstract: A clamp for clamping extendible supports in flexible tooling system includes three overlapping tapered collets surrounding the extendible support, with a set of ball bearings positioned between each of the collets. The middle collet is tapered in a direction opposite to that of the inner and outer collets, so that when the middle collet is pressed by springs into a gap between the inner and outer collet, the inner collet is forced against the extendible support, thereby clamping it. The ball bearings and the three collet assembly prevent the clamp from binding with thermal expansion so that the clamp releases when the force pressing the middle collet into the space between the inner and outer collet is removed. The springs maintain a sustained clamping force so the clamp does not release upon thermal expansion of it components.

Abstract: A flexible tooling system includes a support table with multiple openings adapted to removably accept a self-contained actuator. Each opening of the support table provides vacuum and air supply lines as well as a bus interface so that each position may be uniquely addressed and commanded separately from any other openings. The self-contained actuator has corresponding connectors for receiving the vacuum and air supply as well as for interfacing with the bus. An actuator may be placed at a particular location by insertion into the receptacle at the opening in the support table aperture. The actuator may be commanded to raise, lower, lock in position and supply vacuum separate from any other actuator.

Abstract: A package has a bottle formed with an annular open and rigid neck centered on an axis, a mass of finely divided powder in the bottle, an inner part engaged over the open neck and formed with an array of throughgoing holes, an outer part engaged over the inner part, formed with a similar array of throughgoing holes, and rotatable about the axis between an open position with its holes aligned with the holes of the inner part and a closed position with its holes out of alignment with the holes of the inner part. A flexible annular lip formed unitarily with the neck projects axially outward therefrom and elastically engages the inner part around the array of holes thereof. The inner part has a radially inwardly directed surface and the neck has an outer surface formed offset from the lip with a radially outwardly directed surface confronting the surface of the inner part.
