Publication number: 20240412717Abstract: Exemplary air amplifiers described herein can utilize a high-pressure stream of gas to accelerate a low-velocity stream of gas to provide a high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas. This high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas can generate unwanted noise as the high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas propagates through the air amplifier. The exemplary air amplifiers described herein can include a multi-stage noise suppression system to suppress, for example, diminish, re-tune, or even completely cancel, the unwanted noise as the high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas propagates through these exemplary air amplifiers. The multi-stage noise suppression system can include one or more absorption materials to passively suppress the unwanted noise generated by the high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas. The multi-stage noise suppression system described herein can generate one or more noise suppression waves to actively suppress the unwanted noise generated by the high-velocity, high-volume stream of gas.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2024Publication date: December 12, 2024Applicant: Sphere Entertainment Group, LLCInventors: Robert ANDERSON, Erik Hockman, Michael Rives

Publication number: 20240399923Abstract: A traction battery controller of an electrified vehicle dynamically adjusts an estimation gain based on a state-of-charge (SOC) of the traction battery and controls the vehicle according to an operating characteristic of the traction battery estimated from an equivalent circuit model of the traction battery that depends on the estimation gain. The controller may reduce the estimation gain while the SOC is low or high and may otherwise maintain the SOC. The controller may dynamically adjust the estimation gain based further on a temperature of the traction battery. The operating characteristic may be a power capability of the traction battery or an updated SOC of the traction battery.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 30, 2023Publication date: December 5, 2024Applicant: Ford Global Technologies, LLCInventors: Yonghua LI, Kevin VANDER LAAN, Richard Dyche ANDERSON, Alan Robert DONA, Matthew Allen TOMAI, Gyouho CHO

Publication number: 20240346178Abstract: Disclosed is a system that tracks website usage without compromising user privacy. The system aggregates website usage data of multiple users across multiple websites. Website usage data is aggregated in a way that preserves each individual user's privacy. Specifically, information relevant to a particular user may be obtained from the aggregated information without exposing what was actually collected from that user. In some configurations, user-specific website usage data is aggregated using trusted execution environment computing hardware. This ensures that privacy is preserved while user-specific data is transferred to and processed by the system. The trusted execution environment applies differential privacy techniques to ensure that use of the aggregated information does not reveal actual information about a user's website usage history. In this way, privacy is maintained while still enabling many of the scenarios that would otherwise rely on third-party cookies.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2023Publication date: October 17, 2024Inventors: Erik Daniel ANDERSON, Joseph J.
