  • Patent number: 12132387
Abstract: Inverters that interface dc and ac power sources and loads are provided. An example application is solar power systems, in which a dc source of power is an array of solar panels; the inverter converts the dc power supplied by these panels to ac power that is fed into the utility grid. Another example is battery energy storage; the inverter changes the dc power of the batteries into ac power that is fed into the grid, and also can convert (rectify) ac power from the grid for charging the batteries. In one embodiment, for example, an inverter comprises slow switches that generate a three-level ac voltage, followed by a plurality of fast-switching half-bridges that introduce high-frequency pulse-width modulation into a plurality of ac output voltages.

  • Publication number: 20240269039
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to pharmaceutical packages, such as syringes, vials, etc., containing wave-shifting crystals that, when excited, emit light having one or more characteristics by which information about the package, such as a unique package identifier, may be obtained. The wave-shifting crystals may be rare earth doped crystals. In some embodiments, the wave-shifting crystals may be incorporated into or onto a wall of a vessel, e.g. a syringe barrel or vial, in a way that maintains transparency of the vessel wall. In other embodiments, the wave-shifting crystals may be incorporated into or onto a portion of the package that need not be transparent, such as a needle shield, tip cap, or vial closure. The wave-shifting crystals may be used to track and/or authenticate a pharmaceutical package.

  • Patent number: 11741112
Abstract: Methods and systems for improved categorization of queries are disclosed. In one aspect, a search query is received and determined to match a pattern having an uncategorized variable placeholder portion. In response to determining the search query matches the pattern, the pattern is used to identify a first portion of the search query based on the first portion of the search query corresponding to the uncategorized variable placeholder portion of the pattern. The search query is categorized by assigning, to the search query, a category associated with the first portion of the search query. Search results are generated for the search query using the category associated with the first portion of the search query.

  • Patent number: 11580115
Abstract: Methods and systems for improved categorization of queries are disclosed. In one aspect, first queries having query results limited to a particular category are identified. Second queries including a first query are also identified. For identified second queries, a pattern is generated based on the second query and the included first query, and a rank of the first query's particular category in results for the second query and a percentage of the second query's results having a category equivalent to the included first query's particular category are determined. The ranks and percentages are aggregated for matching patterns, and second patterns with aggregated ranks and percentages meeting a criterion are determined. Results for a third query are limited to a category equivalent to a particular category for a first query included in the third query, and then transmitted over a computer network to a client device.
