Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for detecting SIM swap fraud. A method is performed by a classifier entity. The method comprises monitoring subscriber update data request messages sent as part of an update data procedure between a first network entity and a second network entity in a mobile network. The method comprises determining that one or more of the subscriber update data request messages is associated with SIM swap fraud by verifying that the subscriber update data request messages fulfil a set of conditions. The set of conditions pertain at least to: an MSISDN of a first subscriber entity in the mobile network within a first predefined timeframe is associated with more than one IMSI, and/or an IMSI of a second subscriber entity in the mobile network within a second predefined timeframe is associated with more than one MSISDN.

Abstract: A portable sleep support structure for enabling a user to rest comfortably while in a confined space or seated position. The sleep support structure is made of several elements that may be detachable from each other. The sleep support structure, which also includes telescoping elements, enables a user to rest and fall asleep by leaning forward into the sleep support structure which supports the head, neck and torso of a user. This support system enables a user to relax and makes sitting for long periods less stressful, because the user is able to sleep, rest or relax, in the seated position. The sleep support structure is anchored by the bodyweight of the user leaning into the structure, which is placed on the thighs of the user. A torso strap is also utilized to stabilize the chest of a user.

Abstract: Photochromic materials, such as spiropyran dyes, are disclosed that can be used for high-density optical storage and molecular switches. According to the disclosure these compounds can be used as transducers in optical sensors. When the spiropyran dye absorbs UV light it switches to the merocyanine form, and this structure has an active binding site for cations. When cations bind to the site, the resulting colored complex has a new absorption band in the visible spectrum. By shining white or green light on the colored complex, the dye is reverted to the closed spiropyran form, and the cation is released. The disclosure optimizes the immobilization of the spiropyran dye onto a polymer substrate via long chain alkyl groups. These long chain alkyl linkers enable the dye to reversibly form the preferred merocyanine (2):(1) cation sandwich complex.

Abstract: A system and method for spectrophotometrically measuring the total alkalinity of a liquid sample. In a particular aspect, the method involves equilibration of a CO2 gas with a sample solution across the permeable walls of a Teflon AF 2400 liquid core waveguide. The waveguide acts as both an equilibration membrane and an optical cell in which spectrophotometric pH measurements are obtained via measurements of absorbance ratios.
